This day hasn't started well...
So to recap the morning commute:
Stuck behind a school bus that stopped at EVERY driveway (why don't all these kids collect at one point?)
That bus turned, only to encounter another one. The kicker here, parents running from the apt building. I say if you're late, you're on your own. And these parents take advantage of it. 8 families running for the bus.
*This one's my fault* Too busy reading the paper, wasn't paying attention, missed my subway stop.
Computer crash.
And that's my morning so far.
who's havin' a good Friday the 13th?
Yeah, I just wanted to complain.

I can't quite compete with that, but was up sick until 3am (didn't even want to play xbox, yeah that sick), only to be awakened at 6:30 by one of my boys complaining that his bed was wet. Awesome start to a day. Everything's been cool since then though, so maybe I'll just hide on the couch and hope for the best.

Re: This day hasn't started well...
My youngest woke up at midnight crying, so I went up to get her back to sleep. 5 minutes later, she pukes three times in her bed (she's 4 and this was her first time puking like that). I race her to the bathroom, and get her in front of the toilet, strip her bed (executing my perfected mouth breathing technique - sympathetic puker here), gave her a bath, and brought her downstairs to our bed. In the mean-time, my oldest wakes up (they share a room and she is 5), and says she can't get back to sleep. I take the bedding downstairs, rinse the puke off in the sink (still using the mouth breathing technique), get the sheets in the washer, and then head back upstairs to sit with my oldest to get her back to sleep... I fall asleep (in and out really).... Now I wake up (sort-of) it's after 3am, and I head down to our bed only to find out that my youngest has puked 3 more times in our bed. I grab my pillows and head to the sofa. My oldest comes down at 6am, wakes me up and wants to watch cartoons. I put on the HUB, and spend the next 4 hours watching girly cartoons.... I stayed with my youngest while my wife brought my oldest to school, and then came into the office (got here a 10am)....
Now... I'm tired, cranky, and just overall grumpy. The only silver lining is that I was able to make a really good pot of java this morning....
For the record, Friday the 13th is actually one of my luckier days (was born on the 13th)....

I feel for you guys.
The bug hit my house last month. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with that stuff today.
