When I was unable to join the series race last night, I did some Rivals. While Laguna Seca was loading, I looked at the track layout and something about it seemed familiar ...
The picture on the right is Mêlée Island, from the The Secret of Monkey Island (an adventure game from 1990, remade a while back and available on XBLA and Steam). When it clicked, I thought it was quite funny, and if any of you played Monkey Island you might appreciate the similarity. I loved Monkey Island, and adventure games in general, so it might just be me ...
