I'm not 'gone' I just need to figure out...

I removed myself from club last night...not cuz "I'm done" or anything, but I don't know how to keep kids out of my profile on Xbox, and I have been 'tasked' with keeping them from my contact list (and content)...I setup profiles for them, but the system always comes on as me....will figure it out tonight, someone invite me if you are going to play with new car pack

AHHHHH, ok then. You had me worried there.

Isn't it something in the settings? Something about a default account? Or automatically logging in? I know you can set a password for that. At least then they won't be able to use your account.

Let me know when it's figured out and I'll send you the club invite again.

I have profiles for them each, but I can't figure out how to get it to ask for 'who' is signing on. Passwording my account would work too. I have to look tonight, today was a S### storm at work, so I had no time to look at it more.

Go into System Settings and set it up so that your profile password is not stored (you have to enter it every time), AND set another "generic" account on the xbox as the default... That will keep them out of yours... All you will have to do is log on to your profile when YOU play!

I wish I could give you the exact menu options, but since I am on vacation w/o the xbox...

Haha holy crap we need to make that our motto Low!!! And Lou I agree, way too fun! (Even though I had ANOTHER mini hiatus). Just add in (unless we kick you out) to the end of your statement and voila, our "official" club motto lol.

"....you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave!" Implies that the only way to leave is to die or, in the case of a FM4 club, kicked out! No need to add it....

I was on when he quit. Practicing. Sent him a message right away. Wondering what happened there.

Funny how this was on everybody's mind. Guess it's one thing when you don't see some members (let's just go back to the recent "defections", ) aside from infamous, I had no idea who they were. To sound cold, I didn't care too much about it.

Cut to last nite and we have an active member who's been here pretty much since day 1, without a word, quits. You start to wonder. What could possibly be wrong? Viper can't hate R3 cars that much can he? In any case, glad to hear this is just a profile issue and nothing catastrophic.

Yeah when its a guy who's been here 2 weeks and hasn't really raced much with us its not a big deal. But when its a main guy, I'm pacing the floors at 2:30 in the morning trying to find out where the club went wrong. But now I can get some sleep.

LoL...sorry...should have prolly planned that better. I set the password thing (which is going to be a complete pain in the....) but should satisfy my significant other that the kids won't stumble upon my friends list and be 'exposed to anything'....which, I get, is a somewhat ridiculous...but after 20 yrs, just easier to say 'yes dear' and fix it. Doesn't help when she uses my own logic on me =\

I take it someone has a naughty name and the kids saw it. Kids always catch the bad things first.

Found the pw thing, thanks Lou....I hate that is uses your XBL password. I made that purposely complicated to avoid hackers, but it takes like 3 mins to put in with the wheel. Going to have to get used to starting with controller (keyboard attached) and starting game with wheel.
