One of those WTF moments...

So... I'm working from home today, and the house phone rings. I let the answering machine grab it and I listen to the message as I'm heading back downstairs to my office! I stop dead in my tracks... It's a Costco automated message telling me that the double pack of Norwegian Smoked Atlantic Salmon I purchased on Saturday has been recalled by the manufacturer in Norway due to possible Salmonella contamination! The best part of this is that I JUST finished up the last bit of it 2 hours ago for lunch. The message said that there were no reported cases in the US yet, but the Placebo effect has begun... My GI Track is girgling, and so on.....

*sigh*

Look at the bright side, better you being at home than stuck in the office or worse yet, stuck in your car in traffic.

I doubt that I am sick, but man... Talk about a WTF moment..! And yeah, I'm pretty much laughing too... But... I'm also gonna toss the steak I bought there when I picked up the Salmon... I gots the costco heebee geebee's now!

I didn't get sick.... It was really just the timing on the call.... less than 2 hours after I finish off the Salmon, I get the call from Costco.... LOL.... I appreciate the call, and if I had finished it the day prior, it wouldn't have creeped me out....
