I'm hoping that I don't duplicate what happened back at this track in april when I rear-ended eric on lap 1 and had to make 2 pit stops... let's just say that it didn't help me finish first...

Wow, 30 laps? I think I lapped at around 1:40 (2?). That makes this race about an hour for me (at 35 laps). Dear lord. Somebody (read: ME) is gonna be talking and distracting everybody cuz there ain't no way I'm playing this game all quiet for an hour.

So... If I end up dead with 4hp because of being smashed into something, I might have to rage "quit".... I mean retire from the race and come back as a spectator! LOL... I suspect I will be out early due to damage. Getting back to the pits might be impossible with enough damage!! Shocked

How much banging and smashing did you do last night?

I think the only thing I managed to do was hit the wall on the front straight. (There's that lapse in concentration). I think I was clean racing with Fraid.

Well as long as everyone knows its simulation, we should be alright. I've kind of taken to "fall back and wait" approach to the first turn since I'm usually never up front, there's never been a reason for me to battle it out.

30 laps should put us between 42-50 minutes depending on the fastest and slowest times. My thought behind the longer races is that it gives the pros more time to work out a clean pass. Oh and 1 more thing, I won't do it during the first race since we are setting classes, but for the rest of the series the fastest lap times during qualifying will get put in the back of the grid for the race. 2 reasons for this, 1 it makes it more exciting and keep us closer as a pack and 2 it'll give the slower guys (me) a chance to see your lines an hopefully help them to step up their game and time.
