Can't remember where I ended up, but still feels like I'm leaving lots 'out there'....that or the car is just that solid that it's got me overconfident.

BiggLou55 wrote:AMAZING tune on that 037 beef!!!! I love it... I was able to post a 0:01:38.978 last night with it and it's got more in it. That posted time was a lap where I almost flipped twice and know I lost a second or two here and there (set me as your rival if you want some entertainment )! GREAT JOB MAN!!!

I tweaked my 05 Mustang GT and was able to run a 01:41.xxx, but It can't touch your 037 tune! Cheers!!!!!

Thanks guys! Very Happy

I will tray and tune a non-uni NSX-R for this to see what it can do, but I doubt I can come up with anything that is better than Beef's 037.. Whattttta Tune!! Very Happy
Yeah, its a unicorn. The good thing is, I don't think any bounty challenge has ever used the car on the top of the leaderboard

I'd love to get my hands on that tune. The one I picked up in the Storefront was ok, but I'm going to need a great tune to beat this guy's time

Are we talking about the same thing at Maple? Did you mean a 1:34?

No this is the one at infineon. Frank is also currently ahead of warcryFIN's time with a 1:44.932!

Frank, Eric and Mark each shared cars in the club garage for this event. I can't wait to try them out!

I was confused about this too at first. I hit 1:44.xxx at Maple Valley barely trying and thought, "People are struggling with this? Damn, I must really be improving!" Quite a different story at Infineon. Razz I haven't tried Frank's Lotus yet but even so, I'm not sure I can shave 3+ seconds. That guy updated his time again...

I put together a quick tune for a 2000gt because I haven't seen any on the LBs...it should be able to beat his new time if you can perfect your line...I used Frank's Cortina and got it into the top 100 last night, that thing is loose but its fast!

Is he ever. Your Cortina is setup nice Frank, I'm getting a feel for it, and slowly moving up...not sure if I'll get down to 1:44....but that will be a flaw in the driving, not the car.

I doubt I'll make it but I'm having fun climbing the boards and raking in credits. I made some headway with Frank's tune and then got a little farther with SMS Flunky's Alpha Gta. That one really carves through the corners.

I added 2 cars to the garage last night (or this morning.. Insomnia sucks).... An Alfa GTA and the Yenko Stinger (Covair Monza). I was WAY too tired to know if was actually running well or not (InsomniZombi). I know the GTA needs some work, and I'm going to see if I can squeeze some more out of the Monza.... I could run both in the 01:47.xxx dead tired...

I ran Mark's 2000GT and I love it.

I will run the Cortina and the Fairlady tonight (if I can)...

I changed the gears in my Z after talking with Lou last night, and squeezed a 1:48 out of it. Feels like there is more in it. I am still working on my alfa gta, the gearing was too short in my original setup but it handles very well. Hopefully I can throw it in the garage as well tonight.

I think it was in the 'Missing Unicorn' thread there was some talk that one of the Dev's had found something wrong, and there were doing some maintenance, so could be tied to that....that or Dev typed RM* ...in which case....

right now the best I can do is a 1:46.xxx. I have never been really good with the older cars because the suspension likes to keep the car turned to that side even after you are done going through the corner. The tune that you put on the cortina is great Frank, but I would like to mess with the brakes a little bit (they're locking up on a few corners for me), so could you send me the tune? Thanks by the way for all the tunes for the series race, they're great!

I haven't been too successful so far this month (last month I got 4 out of the 5 bounty cars). I guess I'm just frustrated that the bounty has a top 500 time.
