I hate drifting.. Mostly cause I cant do it... ninja sent me some drift tunes, so I guess I should try!

After his vacation, he now wants to drive the RT (Chrysler Minivan platform - I worked on way too many parts of that car - the joys of working in the automotive manufacturing industry (not that the platform is an inside name)).

This is going to be a challenge of marginal improvments it looks like. In the FM.NET forum, he said he used M3Rockets tune for the 6:614. Our own Frank is 1:05 something...hopefully he will share it in the club garage.

**Edit** Just noticed your time beef, nice job...looks like I'll be chasing you tonight instead of Fischs.

Chaos has an amazing time too....considering that's not an LB car.

does anybody have some info as to what racing line I should use and where my breaking point should be on the last turn? I can't manage to get a time under 1:06.049 but I have run a ton of 1:06.071's (its frustrating when you get so close but don't beat your time...)

I am only slightly ahead of you, but if it helps, what I try to do on the last corner is go into it in 4th, brake a bit then coast a fraction till I find the line that will hold me in the corner and through it. Usually around 80mph, I apply the gas gradually and power out of the turn to the finish line. You can go quite far to the left of the track without dirtying the lap just before the finish line.

On previous runs, what I also tried was go into the corner in 4th, no braking but downshifting to 3rd, this would bring the car in towards the curve and then slowly apply gas and again power out to the finish line, of course upshifting to 4th after exiting the corner. The latter technique helped me get speed with other tunes, my fastest time now I used Frank's tune and I did not find this technique to work as well, as I found I would often spin my tires when downshifting losing crucial time.

Viper, great time, not sure I can one up you this time. I forgot to turn off traction control on my last run I did this morning, if I get another chance to try it I may try Frank's tune without TCS. I don't think his tune needs it. Not sure I have any time to spend on the box coming up however.

This is exactly how I get through last turn as well. Downshift, coast, mid turn, downshift, and gas. Depending on my run down the straight, I might tap the brake, just to make sure I get on the race line.

I thought there mention of a Subaru at some point, but honestly, I don't remember. The one Unicorn I really want, no one wants, cuz most people have multiple of them...the RX7. I also would like that NSX-R GT. After driving Franks in the last challenge, that car is amazing.

has anybody else noticed how slow T10 has been with getting out the prize cars lately? I still have yet to recieve the d-type jag from 2 weeks ago, the S204 for participating in the VIP rivals event and the HKS evo (this one isn't very surprising though because it only ended yesterday)....

I'm actually glad for this because I was worried about not being back within 30 days to download my cars. I am a bit bummed about missing out on the Evo though.

They've been slow with the VIP cars. I've seen a couple of threads on it.

The Celica challenge reward is the HKS Evo. At least that's what everybody is posting about.

edit: You are probably referring to the June VIP rival aren't you? Yeah, I dunno then.
