Forza Horizon pre-order incentive

Honestly, after playing the demo, I don't think it will matter as much as it does in FM4 what car you drive. I think it comes down to more the driver, but we'll see what it really is once we have the actual game in the Xbox CD tray!

I have noticed that a lot of lancias have been announced over the last few days, nice to see we will get to use some proper rally cars out in forza's open world

Just watched a video review on Gamespot. There is a specific "My FM4 Vinyl Groups" section. Hopefully this means you can continually import vinyls from FM4 and not only once when you start the game. Then you can create your vinyls in FM4 and share them between the two games

It also revealed what the "Win x cars online" achievements are for. Each time you level up, there's a slot machine which gives you credits or, if you're lucky, a car. So it wasn't for pink slip races. Don't really think luck-of-the-draw warrants 3 achievements (at least 2 could've been spent on something interesting), but there you go.

While I am a car whore when it comes to games like this, I know that over time all of the cars I want will come in time... I've got a serious garage overflow problem right now (everyone needs to keep an eye out for random gift cars from me BTW) that I am working to remedy...

Okay, I am committed for real now. Just convinced my wife to sign up for Amazon Prime (thanks for the extra ammunition, Lou!) and changed my order to two-day shipping. Should be waiting for me after work next Tuesday...

I'm as bad as nub though. I didn't want to miss out on the unicorn in case it was delivered after that first week window.

Are any of you worried about the car list? Apparently, it seems like there are only 127 cars, excluding the VIP and Day 1 cars, and maybe the unicorns. I was really hoping for at least 200.

Following the daily reveals, there are a lot of cars missing. Just based on my tastes, a couple of Audis, the Ferrari GTO, 512 TR and a 430, Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago, Mercedes SLK (really happy the SL 65 Black Series was revealed today, phew) and SLR, the original McLaren F1 (why this bloody obsession with the long-tail?) and MP4-12C (although I'm sure I've seen that in videos), the Renault Clio V6, the other Corvette Stingray (1971, I think), etc. Some of these I've been yearning to drive on the open road even before Horizon was conceived. Regardless of personal taste, you'd think the Lamborghinis and SLR would be there.

Given that they only have 127 slots, they've made some strange choices. Why the F40 and the F40 Competizione? Why the F50 and the F50 GT? I'd much rather just have the normal F40 (love that car) and F50 (if they have to) and the GTO, 512 TR and/or 430 (preferably Scuderia).

At least xray is now getting Horizon and getting it early

The cars they've been announcing on twitter; are those launch-day cars or ALL cars including DLC packs? I haven't been following along with DLC or season pass details. $50?

I'm not worried about the cars.... Three are way more cars in FM4, but how many of them are actually worth getting, tuning and driving? there's a lot of crap in FM4, but there's also a lot of goodness.. It looks like they are porting over most of the goodness from FM4, so I'm not worried...

As long as the game is good (IMO), I will probably be playing a whole lot of FH through the end of the year. We'll see if it has the staying power that FM4 has with me. FM4 will be second for a bit, and it's looking like all of the other games I own will be distant and occasional 3rd's

sadly, from what I saw of team VVV's coverage of the full game car dealership there is no e46. just the e90 and e30...it is very sad, since the e46 is definitely my favorite generation!

Got mine too... and one that I was not expecting...

I got one from NewEgg as well as Amazon... Apparently I didn't successfully cancel my LCE Pre-order from NewEgg.... So.... I have two copies coming... LOL...

I have a few people here at the office that play FM4 that might want it, otherwise I'll see if there is someone in the club that is worthy... Possibly as a future Series Race Prize...

1 day till the game arrives! the last couple days have felt like weeks... I can't even imagine how long the day is going to feel tomorrow...

just checked my email and it still hasn't shipped yet...
