My wife bought this wheel for me at Christmas last year. I tried it out for about a month and just could not get used to it. I ended up returning it. I currently use the controller.

My biggest complaint with it was you hold it in mid air and steer in the air, it actually gets hard on the arms after a bit. I never tried it in a series race which are normally half hour in length but your arms will get tired with it. Or you rest your elbows on your knees if not at a desk but sometimes this won't work for tight turns.

I really wanted it but found it really uncomfortable and alien to use. I asked my wife to exchange it for the CSR wheel. She said okay, of course not knowing how much they cost, lol.

I have weak old-man gamer hands and wrists to begin with, but the wireless speed wheel kills my right wrist.

I will give y'all a moment to make some masturbation jokes.

....

Aaaaaand we're back. It helped with immersion, and was certainly fun, but the physical pain makes it unusable for me. The lack of lb and rb is also quite annoying, but work-aroundable.

This guy goes to the Dr. and says 'Doc, you gotta help me, my dick has gone orange!'

Doctor says 'Wha...? Orange? Well, let's get you to take off your pants and have a look'.

So the guy goes behind the curtain, takes off his clothes, and puts on the gown. He comes out, and sits on the table and the Doctor, takes a look.

"Huh..."the Doctor says,"it really is orange, that's the strangest thing I have ever seen."
"Have you changed anything in your diet recently?" the doctor asks
"Nope" the man replies
"Have you been drinking carrot juice, at all?" asks the Doctor
"Nope, can't stand the stuff" the man replies
"Have you come into contact with any chemicals at work?" says the doctor
"Nope, don't work, I'm retired" the man answers.
"Well, what do you do during a typical day?" asks the doctor
"Well, not much" says the guy "Just sit around eating Cheetos, watching porn"

I have one... I used it all but 2 or 3 times and hated it... I ended up sticking with the controller until I picked up the Fanatec CSR....

Also... You'll need to pick up the MS Wireless Headset with Bluetooth with the WSW. The WSW does not have a microphone jack.... That said, I use the MS Wireless Headset w/ bluetooth and I love it... I just didn't care for the WSW... Since I will never use it again, you give me your address and I'll send mine to you!

Got mine a few months ago (February?) and that's all I've used since. I love it! As Lou mentioned, you do need a wireless headset. Nubrocket also pointed out that the lack of shoulder buttons is a pain. So design wise, they cheaped out and made some stupid choices. But as far as driving with it goes, it's responsive and works really well.
