Re: What difficulties do you use?
Based off of yours,
Steering - Normal
TCS - off (unless R3 or higher, then it's on - and of course when I forget it's on it stays on)
Opponent - I dunno. I'm guessing medium for when I started, never changed it.

I like these settings as well Marm. My only change is I sometimes use TCS for S class especially if it is a muscle car. In event list I use professional if I have a nicely tuned car, hard if running a car stock. The only time I use rewind is for Rivals. It can be handy for the events that dirty easily like a track day competition, if you dirty near the end, you can go back do it again and your next lap is clean instead of doing a lap for no reason.

Same here except I use Manual (no clutch)...
I use rewind on tough rivals where I'm prone to make a lap dirty towards the finish (keeps you from having the next lap dirty...)
Like Marm, I use TCS on some R3 and pretty much all R2 and R1 cars... I have not mastered throttle control on them...
Re: What difficulties do you use?
Ive done no TCS on R2 with a Pagani Zonda GR and a McLaren F1 GTR and they are some what easy to control.

Re: What difficulties do you use?
I use the view that shows the whole car. If im driving a car with a turbo and there is a long straight i'll switch to the cockpit view because i love the sound a turbo makes ha

Re: What difficulties do you use?
Now that I'm actually sitting at a PC, I'll post my full list...
Braking - ABS Off
Steering - NORMAL
STM - Off
TCS - Off (On when running some R3, and nearly all R2 and R1 cars)
Shifting - Manual for RWD (I use Manual w/clutch when running AWD/FWD as well as Drag and Drift)
Suggested Line - Braking Only
Rewind - Off (On for rivals)
Damage, Fuel, Tire Wear - Default (I don't really hit career mode very much)
Opponent Difficulty - Default (????)
Opponent Upgrades - Default (????)
Class Restriction - Default (????)
As for camera views, I run Hood view (unless the car is red, then it's bumper because I cannot see the redline on the tach). I have started runnng cockpit view quite a bit, and may switch to that for most cars. I only use chase view when playing Soccer...

Re: What difficulties do you use?
Mine, with commentary:
Braking - ABS Off
Steering - Default (using controller)
STM - Off
TCS - Off (Except with R3 or higher; recently it's actually been on since I keep forgetting to change it.)
Shifting - Manual (Considering trying clutch at some point.)
Suggested Line - Braking Only (Primarily used as my track "Navigator" since I simply don't know where the turns are on many courses. Will probably turn it off for select tracks soon.)
Damage, Fuel, Tire Wear - Simulation
Rewind - On
Opponent Difficulty - Professional
Opponent Upgrades - Upgraded
Class Restriction - Limited
Camera View - Cockpit

Re: What difficulties do you use?
Most of the time mine are this:
ABS: off
Steering: Normal
Stability: Off
Trac: Off
Manual w/clutch
Line: Off
Damage: Off
The only thing that change is trac: I turn this on for high power to weight cars or cars that are just generally tail happy.
Although some of these might get changed once my wheel comes in. Not looking forward to taking a couple steps back in skill level :/

Re: What difficulties do you use?
When hpi, beefsupreme, and i raced on Friday night we turned everything off and forced the cockpit view. needless to say it was a mess at first, but then we found that after a while not only were we getting better at seeing our own braking points, but we also were getting faster and faster lap times. I usually don't keep up with these guys in races. It was enjoyable experience as i found myself not only keeping up, but at times leading the lap times. i would definitely encourage the club to get together and run the same way.

Re: What difficulties do you use?
Before I left friday night I was able to do a few races with cockpit view forced and it was really fun! I too found myself keeping up with guys that usually blow me outta the water.

Re: What difficulties do you use?
I think the forced cockpit view racing was great. doing it in cars that you wouldn't normally use made it even more fun in my opinion. who would have guessed that the 2011 Volvo S60 R would have the best stock tune in the game!
