Unicorns...
Anyone know when we're supposed to receive the VIP Unicorns from July, August and September... Also, what about the unicorn for posting the Challenger 392 pics?
Not really much time to comb the FM4 forums these days is why I'm asking here...

Re: Unicorns...
VIP has been a disappointing purchase. We've gotten 3 unicorns for $15 since they made it available to everyone in May. Is that right? I was expecting monthly cars.
I'm also waiting on prize cars from the autocross rival and the challenger photo entry.

Little to no support for Forza 4 now. Everybody's focussed on Horizon.
Otherwise, haven't heard anything.

Re: Unicorns...
the optimistic presumption is that turn 10 is just too busy right now to gift them out. that's for the VIP though, 392 thing they can't back out of now. as for VIP, i've had it since march so i've gotten quite a bit out of it. plus i'm pretty sure FM4 VIPs will be rewarded in horizon.

Re: Unicorns...
One would hope.... I just know I have like 3 or 4 unicorns coming... Just didn't know when...
Re: Unicorns...
The thing with VIP is you really need it from the start. Otherwise, it comes so late that I doubt it's really worthwhile. And it's overpriced.
This wasn't the case with FM3, though. I got FM3 in the box with my Xbox. Initially I tended to play offline. Only got Gold much later anyway. But when I bought the FM3 VIP on a sale or something, mostly for the VIP cars, I got a whole bunch of gifts in my inbox, because unlike FM4, gifts had no expiry date in FM3. (There's one Lamborghini with a particularly nice Halo livery.)
So, if you're really interested in Horizon, try to get the LCE. I feel FM4's VIP was pretty good IF YOU GOT IT AT THE START.

i agree. it also completely depends on how much you're into the games and how much you care about exclusive content. i was pissed when i played FM4 after picking it up on day one to find out there was a bunch of content i'd missed; especially after the idiot at gamestop told me buying the season pass gave me everything that the LCE did.

Re: Unicorns...
I fired up FM4 for the first time since last Wednesday's series & low & behold I had a 2007 GT500 waiting for me... never requested one for a community event or anything so I'm not sure but maybe it's a VIP rivals gift???

Got one too! Didn't even know a unicorn was involved. I actually have to thank a club member. I remember getting a challenge and going back and putting much more effort into getting a good time. Wish I could remember who it was ... Thank you, Unknown Club Member!
That makes it Unicorn #2 I got as a direct result of joining U2SC!

Re: Unicorns...
I'm thinking we need to bring back the U2SC Leaderboard Challenge.... As a matter of fact, I will start a post about it.... HotDog... Where are you?
Re: Unicorns...
Is that what it was for?
I haven't been paying attention.
And given last night's driving, I need to get back on the FM horse.

Marm, I second that!
Lou, what's the leaderboard challenge? I went in to the leaderboards recently and actually spent some time running tracks/classes I didn't have a time for.

I just finished the post...
https://u2sc.forumotion.co.uk/t787-u2sc-monthly-fm4-leader-board-challenge-november-2012#16712
Basically, we all work to set the fastest LB time we can in the specified rival events... For this month, I'm using all 5 of the Monthly rivals, since they are new to all of us, this ensures that the times set are from THIS month...

Re: Unicorns...
For those who don't know or may have been a bit absent from FM4 lately (like me), it seems like there's a unicorn opportunity for beating Johniwanna's time in the "Pilgrimage to Sonoma" Monthly Rivals.
His time is 1:42.211.Bring your best tuned 2011 Cadillac CTS-V and lay down a few laps. I'll see you at Infineon. I'm willing to bet a unicorn you can't beat me.

Re: Unicorns...
I thought you had to beat Pilgrim's time of 1:35.660, which is like top hundred or something. Confusing! I'll give it a try then if it's seven seconds slower. That Cadillac is actually a lot of fun to drive, if I recall correctly. Thanks for pointing this out.

Re: Unicorns...
I'm still pretty far from that time, I think. I've climbed up to my rival kryptonite, aka swviper, whom I can never climb past ever in any ladder ever. He could run a dirty 30 minute lap and I'd be unable to pass him.

Re: Unicorns...
The event itself is competing against Pilgrim/ O'Connell (I don't pay too much attention to GM factory drivers. The kicker is he did it with traffic. I've got an open track and the best I cam do is 39.
