I just tried the expansion again, but this time using my wheel (in loosey-goosey Horizon config) and my headphones on and loud. It was...a blast!

I'm still not very good (finished 9th overall on the first series), but I did much better than my first try. Lots of fun. Lots of fun indeed. For those who have it, it could make a really fun race series.

So I bought the Rally Pack yesterday and I love it so far. I've only done the first 2 events, but I ran most of the stages several times since the AI is pretty competitive. It's great, especially now that they've fixed the vibration on the controller. I just wish they added the lights and wings and flaps as addons for the rally cars outside the pack, like the other Evos, the Quattro, the Lancias, etc.

I finally downloaded the rally pack last night and I have spent all morning wondering why I didn't download it earlier - its so much fun

It is really good. I've grown fond of the Celica, and the Ford RS200 with rally setup. And I do enjoy my Evo 8 Smile

Want more properly kitted rally cars in future car packs.

yeah same here. I think the honda fit is one of them. I am still wondering why they didn't make rally body kits for cars like the lancia stratos...

Especially after you've seen how cool a kitted Stratos looks in DiRT3. I'm still hoping for the Quattro in a future pack.

There are some amazing rally replica liveries on the Storefront.

I went mountain biking today and that made me want to do the rally again. I kicked the holy living hell out of the first series. Where before I couldn't make it into the top 10, I finished in first with a 4 second lead.

And oh yeah, it was A LOT of fun.
