Seeing as how I put the wrong adress, I have no idea where my package is now. Said delivered but I dunno if buddy took it and said he never got it or if it's in the postman's hands.
So I guess that means you'll be practicing for tomorrow's race then Huh?

Pretty satisfied so far, found out they added the car I enjoy driving most so I'm happy. Anyone hosting a lobbing tonight? I'd love to just drive around and explore so sent me a pm.

Also, Sorry to hear about your scenario Marm, sucks.

I'm headed for bed now but my first day's impressions are all positive. No, it doesn't really drive like FM4 but that's okay. There's a ton of fun to be had.

Quick list of stuff I liked:
Looking for barns and discount signs
Quick restart loading times
Variety of races and rivals
No dirty laps
Music (rock station anyways)
Storyline- it's hokey but adds some interest
Cruising around
Scenery
Cool cars!

Well, it's Wednesday now. Another day closer. And they revealed the GTO today, so I'm rather pleased. Also pleased to see that those who are playing it already are happy.

It shames me to admit that I felt a tinge of jealousy last night when I saw FH boxes next to almost every avatar and I'm stuck with a re-run of Mass Effect 1 Very Happy

So... the lobby last night was a BLAST!!

Infected or "Virus" on the golf course was the BOMB... We actually ran at least 1 round on each of the 12-15 Infected maps.... LOTS of fun... I see us playing this a lot...

The new game mode King is basically steal the crown... Whoever has the crown the longest wins! Really fun actually... I see us playing this hand in hand with Infected...

FREE ROAM!! This was actually VERY cool... While we you are not earning popularity points in free roam, there is a centralized GPS meaning the host can set waypoints for the lobby... This has potential... You will also continue to get Barn find notifications while free roaming in multiplayer... There are also challenges in free roam, but they look to be a bit time consuming. We need to test that out as well...

Cat-n-Mouse... We didn't get to this, so no comments here...

Street Race... We ran one and it was actually pretty fun. It's like a point to point race, but with AI traffic!

Other race types are Circuit and Point-to-point seem to be pretty much FM4-ish, so we might actually be able to do some series races and one-off's...

As far as single player goes, it's fun.... I don't really care for all the cutscenes as stuff, but I understand why they are there, although I have a hard time believing that the shop guy can take a car from barn find to showroom in 5 minutes for free at a festival in the middle of Colorado, but then again it is a game! Wink

Overall, I like what I see... I did use the controller all night, and I'm wondering how much use the wheel will actually get in FH. I might have to turn on the kinect for the GPS voice commands if I do use the wheel...

you can also level up online, which should further extend the life of the game, cause you get rewards for it. Smile

Yup... Already level 15... The "slot machine" style reward system is frustrating and highly addictive!...

nubrocket wrote:No rear view mirror in hood view. Sad
Nope, and that frustrates me... I'm glad I like cockpit view! Hopefully they add it in a later update... The mirror came in VERY handy last night playing Infected. Since the infected do not appear on the minimap, it was nice to know when Case was closing in... Very Happy

I had fun driving around with you guys last night. Definitely a blast. Its cool that some of the single player stuff still goes on in multi player, like the signs and barn finds.

hey guys, just found out a pretty good way to get to rank 1. drift around the main hub. you rack up huuuuge amounts of points. i just went from 73 to 53 in about 5 minutes. just drift until your multiplier is maxed out at x5 and you should get about 100,000 points

Worst LAUNCH EV4R!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and my stupid mistake.

At the old house, they rejected it. Rather than forward it, it's being returned to Best Buy. So know I gotta order another one and hope it ships out tonight and I have a chance of getting it tomorrow. PISSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Free Roam Lobby and challenges were a BLAST last night.. Not to mention quite lucrative! Very Happy

Shin... If you can swing rising REALLY early or staying up VERY late one weekend, you should join us in a lobby.

I should be around both afternoons at various points this weekend. Maybe we can get an afternoon lobby going.

I need to rally some 8:00-10:00 EST lobbies during the week. You guys all hop on too late for me. Sad

A coupe of club people including me are usually on at 8-10 xray...so we could always set up something then. Red did a lobby yesterday. I'm looking foward to completing these co-op challenges with everyone Smile
