Community Bounty Hunter
CBH is coming to Horizon in January, it seems. There's a pretty entertaining thread about it on FM.net involving a number of T10 community team members.
I never did a CBH in FM4. How do they work? Is it kind of like KOTT? Unicorns were mentioned in the thread ...

That's all it is. Just a version of KOTT.

Re: Community Bounty Hunter
So this is up and running. ApexHunterT10 is the bounty. His current time is 0:52.155, but I'm sure he'll be improving quite a bit. It's the Parks and Recreation monthly rivals. Are any of you going for this, or have you lost all interest in Horizon?

I'll be working towards it.... since finishing FH, there's not much left for me to do until the Rally expansion hits next month...
Re: Community Bounty Hunter
There's an autocross CBH going on in FM 4 too. I'm quite hesitant to put time toward these rivals until I get my unicorn for beating Inspector Lunge back in September. Supposedly it's coming but the wait has been ridiculous.

Re: Community Bounty Hunter
I don't understand what the hell takes them so long. You'd think they'd just get one of their developers to write some sort of automation where all they need to enter the GT of the Bounty, the Unicorn prize, and the date & time the event closes. The Unicorn should be automatically once the end date & time is reached to all those that beat the bounty's time!
I always but some time into bounties, but I'm never going to push as hard as I did with the ZR1 rival on Indy.... The NSX-R GT is a great car, but it's not worth all of that frustration...
I also need to build a Wagon for the FM4 CBH... I'll also give the FH one a shot, but I think I have a pretty decent time in that rival already...

I voted for Kenan because I think he'll be easier to beat. Yeah, I said it.

I lost interest in CBH after they decided to make me wait fore 3 whole months to get my d-type...

Re: Community Bounty Hunter
Apparently he's down to 51.011. I meant to try and improve my time last night, but then drove around in the Halo 4 VIP car looking for discount signs instead - only need 1 more of those little bastards! And then I played Halo 4 ...

Re: Community Bounty Hunter
Yes he is.... I just posted a 50.741 in my Trans Am! LOL Hopefully he's done...
Re: Community Bounty Hunter
OK Shin... I need a break... I'm now 0.028 seconds behind you now @ 49.607 (to your 49:579)... I know I can go faster with my latest build, but it has to be perfect! LOL
Re: Community Bounty Hunter
I put in a ridiculous amount of time toward this tonight. Managed to slide in between Lou and shin on the LB. It took a bit of experimenting to find a competitive build. That might be the best I can do.

Re: Community Bounty Hunter
Thanks, Lou Most of my laps get compromised right at that long first annoying bumpy U. It reminds me of the first corner at Indy GP - you've just started the lap and you're already behind ...BiggLou55 wrote:Holy Crap Shin... 49.x??? you were SCREAMING!! nice time man!!!
He's at 50.883 now, according to the forum thread anyway. I wonder if a mid 49 will be good enough, or if he's going to put in some cracker at the end. The top time last night was a 46.x.
As for the FM4 CBH, yeah, I saw Helios's time, removed the disc and went back to Horizon. At least his time was super-easy to find starting at the top of the leaderboard and scrolling down

Re: Community Bounty Hunter
spent 3 hours last night and 2 hours this morning trying to beat the FM4 CBH. I am only 4 spots behind him and I keep screwing up...
disappointed in myself because I know I can get a sub - 2:20 time...

Re: Community Bounty Hunter
If he's at 50.8x with a fast Firebird build then he's not going to get much faster... If he's yet to try out some of the really fast build laid out in the fourms, we might be in trouble..!!
Re: Community Bounty Hunter
He said he tried the Lexani build. Is that supposed to be good?

Okay, tried that build. Good stuff. Took half a second off but I'm still slightly behind shin's new and improved time. You're fast, man! Hopefully my :49.038 holds up for the unicorn as I am now officially sick of running this.

I was done yesterday... My time stands...
Re: Community Bounty Hunter
Final time is 0:50.254.
I don't know if anyone else in the club went for it, but the three of us beat him! According to the thread at FM.net the unicorn has already been sent. The Honda CR-X won the poll. Still don't particularly care for the Horizon unicorns, but it's nice to have nonetheless.
This was fun - looking forward to the next one ...

Re: Community Bounty Hunter
Nice work, all! I still have Halo flu so I totally missed out on this. The only time I got to try was Thanksgiving morning and that was swiftly interrupted by guests, as expected.
Oh well. I'm counting on Unicorn fever after Xmas, when I EXPECT to receive a unicorn present. I EXPECT IT. FIRST WORLD. THIS IS MY LIFE.

Yay! I was hoping for the Dino but I'll take anything. Turns out I put too much effort into this but I was trying to beat shin or at least break into the 48 second range.

Re: Community Bounty Hunter
CBH #2 is up! Beat Johniwanna's time in "Stampede" and get a unicorn. It's for S class Mustangs. His current time is 1:55.166.
If he loses the side bet, we'll be treated to his rendition of an AC/DC song on YouTube
