Re: February Week #1- Burnese Alps Reverse
Eric I'd like to thank you again for the tune. That car is great! I was beating my practice lap times by a second or two.
I had some good racing with Joe. It took me the whole race to get by him. In the middle part of the race I got by him twice but I wasnt sure if I had him cleared which resulted in me scraping the wall in both times and giving the position back. With a few laps to go I was finally able to get by. Im not sure if he bumped the wall or got a little loose but it was enough to sneak by.
Thats what it looked like from my seat, it was a lot of fun!

Re: February Week #1- Burnese Alps Reverse
my best lap was slightly better than lows, still a 2.06 though. He had a couple of dirty 2.05's, I got a dirty 2.05 on the last lap when trying to catch low and stay ahead of Dijain.
Dijain struggled early, but consistently gained on me the last 3 or 4 laps. The hill climb and his car didnt agree with each other.
Eric, I would like to try your corvette tune and see how it compares to mine.
No chance of a 2.02, but improving on my 2.05 may be possible.

Wolf - that was great, clean racing! For 12 laps it seemed you did not make a mistake and were right on my tail. Once you got past I quickly found out it was just that you were a lot faster and I was holding you up . Great work, you ran that 'Vette nicely.
I felt the Porsche was stretched a little thin for that track, but chose it based on its potential for the other, tighter layouts. Think I can put up better times the next few weeks. Unfortunately, Eric has found and installed the hidden Forza Nitrous option in the 53 Corvette, so we're all boned. Interested to see how Beef's Cali competes from here on out, think it will be a bigger challenge on the remaining tracks. He has been driving very, very well for a while now though...

Also, I am sooo disappointed at how much the Hudson struggles at C. I really like it, it is pretty nice at D, but just not good for this month.
Looking at Wed. results, noticed Doli put up a 2:03 with the Porsche. Damn it. Speaking of driving very, very well.

Re: February Week #1- Burnese Alps Reverse
My cali's strong point is acceleration and most of the rest of the tracks are pretty twisty. I think my only chance left to win is maple valley because it has those steep hills where my car's torque and power will have the upper hand...joekorn wrote:Interested to see how Beef's Cali competes from here on out, think it will be a bigger challenge on the remaining tracks. Thanks Beef! I managed to run in the 2:02 range almost every lap, the slower laps were still low 2:03s. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series, I agree its going to be a great one

Re: February Week #1- Burnese Alps Reverse
Is there still a Sunday time for the series anymore? I was way to tired to get on Friday night, and I want to have all of the races completed this month..

No, that fizzled out many months ago. We did get back on for some random races on Sundays, but think that has dried up again as well. Don't think anyone would be too upset if you wanted to run it yourself sometime or maybe try a makeup day sometime this week?
