Post by Ragnarokz3r0 Tue Jul 10, 2012 9:33 pm

Whats up peeps,

my name is Dan, I'm 31 in Colorado springs CO. i have one son who is 9 (we both have birthdays in September) im not a very good racer but i do like to dabble as a painter. I put my own spin on things so don't be too surprised by the crazy stuff i do lol.

anyway im usually on after work unless pregnant Spanish girlfriend aggro kicks in. only day that i wont usually be on is Sunday because that is the only day i get my son. I'm pretty laid back type of guy just wanna race, chill and learn a few things.

oh yeah will be posting artwork to the storefront soon.

Welcome, Christiaan Smile I live in South Africa and my mother language, Afrikaans, developed from Dutch. What is the difference between the Netherlands and Holland - I seem to recall that Holland is a province or something, but it would be nice to finally know the truth.

indeed well the awser is complicated. for that i tell you some history. at 1588 Netherland was called the republic of the 7 united netherlands (de republiek der zeven verenigde nederlanden). it had 7 provinces in wich Holland was the biggest and it had Amsterdam with a big harbor. with the V.O.C . many merchants came there to sell and buy products. but they mostly were in Holland so everybody got used to saying Holland. and when Netherland became a kingdom Holland got split into two called Noord-holland and Zuid-Holland (North and South) but many people are used to say Holland to Netherland thanks to the merchants.(a funny fact amsterdam is only the nations capital and the capital of Noord-Holland is Haarlem) I hope you understand now

Yes, thanks Smile Good to finally know how it all fits together. And interestingly, I know who the VOC was, since they played a big role in the formation of South Africa, sending Jan van Riebeeck here in 1652. (I also understand all your Dutch words Smile)

Brilliant!

@sergantawesome
I got the first four. Directly translated something like "Dankie vir die begryping", streamlined into "Dankie dat jy begryp/verstaan". "Gast", though, would have confused the hell out of me without the English Very Happy

Post by Lowflyinmx3 Mon Oct 15, 2012 1:58 am

Browsing thru here and it occurred to me that I don't think I really ever introduced myself. Here I go I suppose. You all know me as Low, the leader of the greatest forza car club ever. My actual name is Donnie. I was a model from 3 to 10. They let me go in 96 by using some lame ass excuse saying there wasn't a demand for diapers for 10 year olds so they didn't need my ASSistance anymore . I don't believe it , I think someone in management was just jealous. Haha j/k. But seriously, I'm 26 years old, married and have 3 daughters. I live outside of Cincinnati Ohio. Been into cars all my life, actually anything with a motor really. Family always told me I'd sneak in the garage grab some tools and tear something apart and then put it back together. As far as occupation goes my coworkers call me the "weatherman". I'm a boiler mechanic/ ammonia refrigeration technician. I make it hot in some spots and cold everywhere else, hence my nickname. U2sc was the name of a car club me and my buddies started in high school. I was rolling a jacked up 85 Ford bronco back in the day (yes I used to be country). I use to autocross alot years ago, but haven't had time the past few years. Most of my spare time (outside of my family) is spent playing forza, playing paintball, riding quads, or kayaking.

I looked back on this and found out that I never introduced myself, so after almost a year of being a part of the club I suppose now would be just as good as 8 months earlier...

My name is Max and I am 16 years old. I live in Illinois in a small, boring suburb called Plainfield (honestly, it doesn't get much more boring than that when it comes to town names) and I am currently a sophomore in high school. I have loved cars all my life and have been watching racing for as long as I can remember.

thats about all I can think of right now.... not much to it, but its a start...
