u2sc Leaderboard Challenge

Each week we set a car class and an environment. The task is to hammer all the tracks in that environment with your best possible times. Simple!

-We are using the club leaderboard, not the world. To ask people to claim 1st in the world is insane...
-It is the total time in that location. For example, there are two circuits at Mugello. The total combined time of the two is what we are looking at. Even if you can to take second on each circuit but still have the best total time, you win.
-Times do not have to be posted during the challenge. For example, if even if you posted your time months ago your time still stands. Providing you can fend off the competition for another week
-A prize trophy vinyl will go to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
-If a location has between 1 and 3 circuits, the contest will last 1 week. If it has 4 or more, it will last for 2 weeks.
-Contests will run from Monday-Sunday. Position's will be logged by someone at some point on the Monday after the contest ends. Please resist the urge to put up another time between the Sunday night and the results announcement
-The next weeks challenge will be decided by way of "Ping/Pong" for those that don't know how this works, I will periodically post "Ping" in this thread. The next person to post types "Pong" and the a car class and location. Running a poll each week will be far to time consuming.

Does anyone have any problems with including Drift and X class in this? Personally I don't see the point in X class, its basically R1 class with 5 1% more power, but it's on the list anyway

Drift? I don't drift, but I don't see any problems with including it, and I will give it a shot. The whole point of this is to increase the Club's LB standing right? Every little bit helps......

As far as X-class goes, sure. there is an X-class leaderboard, so it should be included. Once again, we are trying to have the Club climb the LB's!

I don't really drift either, just started the other day. Seems completely pointless yet strangely addictive at the same time...

I am working on some tunes for Positano..... I will share the best in the Club garage....

I will drift before X class likely...not that I'm terribly proficient at either, but I 'like' drifting, I just don't have a feel for it yet in Forza...was pretty good at it in Shift2 tho

Wouldnt mind both, X Class really does seems pointless since its just unrestricted R1 cars...But its still fun with all the downforce and grip of those cars in that class

The Mazda Superlight is a beast, I got into the top 500 on the world leader board with it. Shame it looks so bad

The Nissan Leaf I picked up a while back from one of the garages on the TM is BEAST. It isnt maxed out for C class but with all the torque available right from the get go this thing GOES. C class short tracks I'd recommend this little thing for anyone looking for something a little different than the usual

[rant]Just wanted to say that Positano Full Reverse is the track i HATE the most lol. I keep hitting the walls I can't put in a clean lap...I can put this car into the top 100 but it needs to be clean![/rant]

Edit: Hmmm A600 on Infenion. Might take out one of my Pontiac's and see what I can do. Thought it was still that little hellish track.

Are we doing this as a club thing AND to help the club as a whole on the leaderboards? Also, for the challenege within the club, are we only allowed the same care for all of a track's cicuits, or just as long as we stay within the class?

I'm getting round to posting the winners up, just been busy. Now that I have finally been able to get online I have forgotten who came 2nd and 3rd (Mark was 1st obviously ) and I'm pretty sure the LB has changed since Monday. I'll have to dig out the bit of paper I wrote on. Pretty sure it was Fisch and InsaneFrank in 3rd and 2nd, but I'll check before I make it all official

Been so busy lately, between working at work, working at home, and trying to find non-voluntary work, I havn't had time to sort this out, but I will still be sending out vinyls.
