The car regulations are based on the fact that the cars should be street legal. If anyone knows of any other parts which are not, please let me know.
Car Regulations
- PI must not exceed A600
- Forza adjustable downforce parts are not allowed
- Race Tyres are not allowed
- Race Weight Reduction is not allowed
- Engine Swaps are not allowed
- Aspiration Change are not allowed
- Drivetrain Swaps are not allowed
- Roll Cage is mandatory
Race Format
- Each race will be 2 people only, the winner advances to the next round
- Each race will consist of two runs, the first regular the second reverse if this is possible
- The lead car will become the "Lead Car". The behind will be "The Chaser"
- Each player has a turn of being both. IE if you are the lead car first, the next run you are the chaser
- There will be a roll-off delay of 1 second
- At the end of the first run, note the time difference between the cars
- At the end of the second run, note the time difference between the cars
- Calculate the total time difference. The winner is the player....this part is obvious...
Race Rules
- It is up to the Chaser to make a clean pass
- In order to gain right to pass, the Chaser must have a decent half a car length overlap on the Lead car. Any less than this, a collison is the Chaser's fault
- Collsions are are strict no-no. If the Chaser causes one, the recieve a +2 second time penalty added to their time
- The lead car has every right to block a pass. The only exception is on a rare straight. They may still attempt to block the Chaser, however should they cause a collision here (IE pushing the Chaser into a wall) they will receive a +2 second penalty
- Should the same thing occur into any sort of bend, the chaser must have atleast half a car length to contest
- If an incident cannot be settled between the players, a replay should be posted on the forum and the community will decide the winner by vote
- Drifitng to prevent passes is allowed. Doing so will close up a wider section of the narrow road, however note that this will negatively affect your run time
Game Set-up
- Damage - Simulation
- Collison - Always on
- Roll off delay - 1 Second
- Grid order - Lobby Points
- Reverse Grid - On (If someone could tell me how the actual setting reads I would be gratefull, I believe its something like Ascending - Yes)
- End of Race Timer - 30 Seconds
- Should the Chaser successfully overtake on run 1, set Reverse grid - off. This will ensure they still get their turn to run Lead car
Tournament Format
- If the number of entrents is a power of 2 (2 or 4 or 8.....) then a knockout will take place
- If not, there will be a round-robin group stage followed by a knockout round. This will be finalised upon start of the tournament
- It is up to each player to conduct their race. Obviously one of the two will have to host, which is why the game settings are above. If the community decides you have taken too long to complete the race, a decision will be made to whose fault it is. If this cannot be done, it will go by leaderboard time. However this is unlikely, as it will probably take less than 10-15 minutes to complete
- Regarding prizes, I have none. If someone whishes to suggest/donate then feel free. Of course, you will also receive bragging rights which everone knows are a real thing you can actually grab hold of.

Re: Togue Tournament
I'll keep watching this for about a week, if no one else joins in this time we can do the whole thing as a round robin
Re: Togue Tournament

I take it that this will take time to finish as each pair try to schedule their runs?

Re: Togue Tournament
question: are we doing an entire lap of fujimi or just a point to point race (one section of it)?

Re: Togue Tournament
Im going toassume its going to be a mix of the different sections and maybe a full run...thats all up to hotdog though. If you search up "togue" or "hot version international" or "best motoring" they have some sweet togue vids w/ footwork...those are really fun to watch

When one more person signs up, I'll start it. I haven't decided on tracks yet, but they will be point-to-point, not the entire course.
I'm thinking of having a round robin round where half go through to knockouts, with a different section for each round.
Edit* Realised there are currently 6 people, thought there were 7. If it stays at 6 that's fine, I'll give it until Friday
Re: Togue Tournament
do you have a time set as to when we are dong this because I will be on vacation starting this saturday and won't be back until the next sunday

Re: Togue Tournament
No set time, people organise races among themselves when they can. If no one else minds, I can hold back until you return? That will give people more time to get a car ready too.
Re: Togue Tournament
Since we are on the subject of touge runs and I cant post topics yet, I was thinking what if we do what Mr. Tsuchiya does and review cars by pitting them against eachother?

The video I posted involved that! I love watching tsuchiya and company drive and review cars! I think that'd be great..we could share our cars in the garage and pick out different ones to drive..

Re: Togue Tournament
Decided to start this now as beef is going away, if any one else wants to join I'll add them in. Groups are in the original post.
Ps, is it showing correctly? For some reason sometimes it displays the code for lists and underlined text instead of actually doing it

Re: Togue Tournament
Ok, I'm going to try to organize this so that I will be able to get finished with the group racing before I leave. I will be taking friday off and will be home pretty much all day, so that should be a good time for me and hotdog to race. is there a certain time that is good to start, hotdog? also, I can race either tonight or friday at any time with mark. tell me when you guys can make it and I will do my best to make the race.
