There was a lot of contact last night, but these are the only time grants that I have given so far (mostly because I was just looking to get the times down):

2. 15 seconds given to Sniper at Sedona for his controller dying in mid-corner.

I am sure there is more, so if you want to suggest that I review something, please post the track that we were at when the contact occurred

One more thing: I probably won't be at the supercar race on Saturday, so somebody else can run the lobby then. I will post the amount of laps we will be doing for each track later in the week. I will probably host a make-up session on the following Wednesday

As for the make-up for last night, that will be tomorrow night (Monday, 06-24) at 10pm eastern...  I did not have the time I thought I would have today to get on...

Haha that was actually just a joke, but its hilarious that it happened at the same time Very Happy I can't wait for that Rush concert, but that's on friday. I just found out that my dad forgot to get tickets to the Naked Raygun concert that we would be going to on Saturday, so we still have to check and see if we can get them. That being said, its probably a 50/50 chance that I will get to go to that one. Either way, this weekend is going to be a blast.

Also, we would never want to keep you from racing. We really like racing with you, but we think you should just be a little bit more careful when racing. That actually should go for all of us because a lot of seem to be getting a little careless lately.

Boston, please don't take what I've said as a complaint.  Rather, it was a suggestion on how to handle starts better.  Pick your line and stick to it.  If you feel the need to be on the other side of the track, try to look around and see if there's anybody around.

I'm not asking you to be perfect.  I'm as guilty as anybody of cock-ups when racing.  We're all trying  to race as cleanly as possible.  That's all.

Please keep racing.  The only way you get better is by racing others.  As long as Low ain't around, you'll do fine.

Note: On Sedona, Wolfman was just ahead of me when he caught the quicksand.  I had nowhere to go and I hit him and he spun off.  I slowed and waited for him so we could race close...  Since he hit the quicksand, which is what caused the contact, I'm not sure if you want to adjust Wolfman..  Please keep in mind I did slow and wait..  Wink

Wolfman raced REALLY well...  He was right there with me on Positano, and when I slammed into the wall, he was right there to take the lead (and kept it)...  On Sedona, if it wasn't for Wolfman's nemesis "The Quicksand" I might have had trouble passing him....

There was nothing you could do at sedona, quicksands fault lol. I felt i had a steady pace going after that and then with a lap or two left I hit it again. Darn quicksand.

Positano was intense. Each time i looked to see the distance between us it was always 200 feet or less, might have been more but it was very close the entire race.

I felt we had a quick pace for each race. Even the races where I lost by a decent margin I had beaten all of my practice lap times except positano where I had a few high 1:04s. On Motegi and Sedona I crushed my practice times by almost 2 seconds!

Also Lou, any chance I could have a copy of the tune you used for Motegi?

Sure thing...  I will send you both... The tune for the 111S I ran in B Class and the tune for Exige I ran in A Class....  I used the same tune on the 111S for both Positano and Motegi and the same tune on the Exige for Sedona and Sebring (since I was on vacation last week, I didn't have the time to perfect tunes for all of the tracks)....

Your 111S A-class tune was definitely faster than my Exige A-class tune...  You had the advantage in Acceleration, but I think I had you in handling and top speed.  I also noticed you were not using Aero on you A-Class tune, which would make sense that you had the acceleration advantage.  The drawback there is in the high speed corners, where I was able to gain on you (and pull away once I got by you)...

You drove really well, and had me pushing it every lap!  I'm glad you were able to better your practice times! That always feels good!!

If you could send me the replay from Sedona, I will adjust your time Lou. I guess that track was just the worst for all of us this week. That's pretty surprising considering we had Positano in there...

Unfortunately Beef, that is the only replay I did not get...  I had trouble with the first pic I took, and by the time I snapped the second pic, I was a hair late on the save....  Wolfman...  Did you save that one?

BTW..  No need to adjust my time man....  I chose to wait, since it's more fun to stay close and race together...  Besides....  We probably only lost about 5-15 seconds...  None of it was on purpose or due to careless/overzealous driving, so I don't think it warrants an adjustment...

Edit: In addition and this being a make-up race, I think we benefited from only having two of us on the track...  Adjusting our times would give us an unfair boost IMO...

The only thing I really changed from race to race was the transmission and alignment. I actually had time to tune this week and I'm very happy with the results. I tend to only use aero when I like the way it looks on the car lol

All that I know so far is that I am NOT using the Lexus LF-A at Infineon... Did you know that the color paint you pick for the LF-A rivals event at Infineon actually affects how your car handles or accelerates. NEVER go with the yellow paint

It is true about the LFA paint thing.  The grey understeers but accelerates quicker than the rest, yellow is hard to control, blue is grippy but slow, the gloss red is pretty balanced.  It is weird.

I tried every colour car and it didn't make any difference.
But I had to try, it is just a game after all. and anything is possible.

I have settled on my cars for this week...  After tuning and testing 25+ cars, I will be driving the following:

Both S-Class Races will be the Ferrari F40...  It surprised the hell out of me as an S-Class car...  It might not be the fastest, but it's my favorite to drive...  and..  OMG it has the most wonderful exhaust note!  I cannot think of another car I'd rather drive or listen to in S-Class around Nordschleife! 

Both R3-Class races will be the Ferrari Enzo...  This is the car I drove and fell in love with during our Supercar series last year, and it came out on top again for me here...

I will also be donning Rossa Corsa on both cars (in honor of classic international racing colors) with a splash of Yellow and Green....

I haven't even started testing yet, but I have an idea of what my first choices would be:

S class Infineon: Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4 or Pagani Zonda C12
S class Nurburgring: Mercedes SLS AMG or McLaren MP4-12C
R3 class Catalunya: Mosler MT900S or Koenigsegg Agera
R3 class Road America: Lamborghini Aventador or Koenigsegg Agera

I am probably going to spend a ton of time testing...
