April Series Mugen Civic Tuning Tips....
Figured I'd start a tuning tips section for the April Series. Since we are using Drag Tires, tuning gets a bit trickier.... I ran a lot of laps at Suzuka Full last night to dial in my tune and I found out something that may be key to a good tune....
The tires are REALLY bad cold. Watch out on that first turn, as the rear end will try and come around on you. It has the potential for some serious carnage on the first lap.... I've actually gotten really good and noticeable results just playing with tire pressure. More so than with other tire types (stock, street, sport, race). I'm still working on getting the rear end to settle down more when cold, but once the tires heat up, they seem to be fair. I just want the rear end to be a bit more sticky....
