Pink Slip Challenges
The idea behind Pink Slip Challenges is to have drag race tournaments with cars older than 1985. The max horsepower would be set at 600. With that it doesnt matter what you put into the vehicle as long as it follows the horsepower regulation. The tournaments could be set every 2 weeks to give people enough time to tune and paint their car. The Drag Race will have 1 heat each time being a quarter mile, and as racers lose they will have to gift that car to whoever they lost against. The overall winner will recieve the second place members car and get 250,000 credits from me.
Let me know what you guys think. If enough people like the idea Ill make this post easier to read rule wise and set a time for the first tournament.
Regulations:
Any car older than 1985
Horsepower cannot exceed 600
You must run Drag tires
Rules:
One heat each time until two racers are left
Once you lose two races you are eliminated from the tournament (Must use a different car for both drags)
You may then only spectate the rest of the time
You must gift your losing car(s) to the winner you raced against
Last two racers will have a best 2 out of 3
Prize For Top Winner:
250,000 credits
The second place member's car
Location:
Sedona 1/4 Mile
Settings:
TCS Forced Off
Manual with Clutch
Simulation Damage
Date of First Tournament:
Saturday May, 5th (Allow people to upgrade and paint/Also give time for people to know about tournament)
Time: TBA (Need to know what people agree with on time)

Re: Pink Slip Challenges
Sounds like fun. I'd love to see if I can get some use out of those extra cars that I have in my garage.

Sounds like a fun idea. I had a go at this months drag race rivals event and I setup a drag racing MR2. That thing launched really well.

I have a chevelle that I tuned just to move up the leaderboards about a week ago. I forget how much HP it had, so I might have to tweak it a bit. I really like that car, so I'm hoping that It will win me something nice!

I would definitely be in, time/family permitting. Not the best drag racer, but always have fun doing it. Plus I'd be getting rid of more cars from my crowded garage!
