Old Topics and Posts

Looking around on all of the different pages on the forums I notice there is a lot of old stuff that most likely doesnt have to be here anymore. I was thinking everything should be looked upon and deleted if it is no longer a use to the club. It will make organization so much better and the forums will be easier to navigate for any new members we get. In that, if at all we need a forum "cleaner" I would be happy to take up the position so that our forums stay as nice as possible. I am very active on the forums and I can always be looking for those topics that are no longer being used. I could place some important ones in an "Old Forums Page" and get rid of the topics that we no longer need.

Hotdog can control that from the Admin tool.... He can implement a forum clean-up to remove old or outdated posts...

That might drastically lower the number of posts lou has . Maybe it would work to create an "old post" part of the forums and post all the topics there

I don't care about my post count... An "Archive" section would be good though... I've actually set that up on several forums. It works well for looking up older data, etc...

Hey don't go blaming me, that's what mod's are for
I'll create an archive section for now, then if you want certain sections in it let me know and I'll add them in. PM me though, there's less chance I'll miss it. I'll pm all the moderators now and ask them to tidy up their sections a bit.

I wasn't blaming you, I was simply stating that you could set up an automation to clean it up! I've been keeping the marketplace clean...

Didn't know I could to be honest, found it now though. Ill turn it on, for 60 days or something. Two months without a post is pretty dead.

Has anybody noticed that the profile identification whatever you want to call those things that tells who made the post is on the left side now? Or is there just something wrong with my computer?

Nope, im just playing around with stuff. Trying to put it back but I've lost the option. There's like 200 different links in the admin panel =\

ah, ok. I thought there was something wrong with my computer because it did the same thing on youtube....

I think it's better on the left.
