that was part of the fun of tvr, if it didnt break ,the lack of assists would probably of killed you anyway, as the top gear article said "overengined underengineered hotrods" not to mention they had the coolest paint options list ever. lol!

Well.... that was sort of their thing.... They built crazy cars that were finicky and prone to "issues".... What they didn't do was up the crazy and OMG factors enough to keep up with some of the others.... Bugatti, SSC, Koenigsegg, Pagani, Spyker, etc... They all beat TVR at TVR's game! Crazy cars at high prices that make little to no sense in the real world...

i love the fact they tried to re-invent the doorhandle,by throwing them away!! even inside the handles were replaced by stupidly located switches.
