I'm going for pregnant wife, 1 week olds require 'work' but it's all pretty self explanatory, change, feed, burp, snuggle...or I was just really lucky with both of mine....babies cry for a reason, pregnant wives, not so much. Pregnant wife = hormone overload and is like juggling live explosives.

I dunno. Pregnant wifey follows the same thing.
Change, feed, burp, snuggle... and cravings.
The only difference I see is baby don't hold grudges when you don't do the above.

I guess the other difference is who you care more for.

Also... The baby might be perfectly happy hanging out with you while you play a game... Most likely not the same for the Pregnant Wife...
Cheers and good luck Southern! See you "soon"!

There is truth in this, on nights when my son was particularly fussy, I would go in basement on my PC, and fan noise from the computers would have him out in seconds

??? You need a new fan if it's that loud.
The noise from the furnace would lull my daughter to sleep.
My son on the other hand just wouldn't sleep. But he'd be quiet in the car seat. So, I'd be playing away on the 360 (GTA IV) while he sat in the chair staring at me.
