endurance race tonight!

tonight at 10:00pm est. i will be running an endurance race. i'd suggest to drive what you love..not what is fast or a "good car". pick somthing you love to drive no matter what the class because this isn't about winning we are simply racing to run out of gas. yes this means simulation damage so please try to keep it clean. are you in for the long haul? hope to see you there:D

laps-40 or 50 not sure yet.

maybe a timed race somewhere between 60-90 minutes?

yea that would be better how about 90 mins thats how long it took for me too run out of gas the first time. sound good?

like i said last night, i think we should do one of these again, but maybe S class or something with not so many leaderboard cars, to avoid anyone dominating.

its not a race for first, just to see who runs out of gas first. I wanna do another, and actually use a car that doesnt blow ass. PLz?

I was just about to run out of fuel when I destroyed rickenbacker on the back straight. That veyron lasted a lot longer than I was expecting...

That was definitely a ton of fun, I was laughing the whole way through the "ride the rails" fujimi race.

Hahah, i do that everytime we drive that stupid track, or one like it. I just pick a car with a ton of HP-Accel and all wheel drive. And just crank up rails as hard as possible and i fly by people.

we should try to get a solid time and day that's convenient for as many people as possible. what do you guys think would be better, go unlimited and for fuel or go class restricted and for the most amount of laps? the thing with fuel is, when you get wrecked, you basically have to pit, virtually ruining your chances of competing... not that it should be too competitive, but is that ever a problem in this club?

i think if we are going to do a legit endurance race we need to do max laps and pitting with a restricted class. if we are just screwing around like lastnight trying to run out of gas thats one thing but, an actual race yes class, pitting and laps should be more what it should be based on. thats my opinion but, set up a race on here if you want doli im in for sure

Either way, I'm good. Although only earning 9000 credits after all that seemed a bit of a waste. Of course, my car went all red 3 times I believe. One for mark, and two times hitting doli parked in front of the pit exit.

you earned 9000? i lost 8,000 credits for the whole race! I even went up a level and i was still 8k short of my losses

Really? You lost credits for that race? I didn't think it was possible.

I earned 50K for the race. 45K for "feats" or whatever that second one is.

Then lost 85K due to damages.

Yeah I remember looking at the credits screen...and I was adding it all up and i was like, LOL I lost 8k . That was a fun night of random racing.

alright i'll look into further setting something up. haha i figured out how to not kill my car coming out of the pit though, marm! and i think i only lost about 8k for the damages.... can't remember the total credit earned... that reminds me...

since the race obviously wouldn't be for credits, what kinda prizes should we be looking at?

Don't have a clue. I'm just there for fun. Prizes aren't a motivating factor for me.

Not my fault. You put yourself right at the spot where I didn't have control of the car. Or was just given control maybe a few feet earlier. Either way, my beat up car had no chance. The body was already at 100% damage by that time. There was no further protection available to me.

i'm not sure we're on the same page... i'm talking about how when me and a few others were leaving the pits and the pit exit had a couple people blocking so everyone colliding was inevitable. which was hilarious, and didn't matter cause there was only like 8 minutes left anyway

not sure... but i remember it was hpi, mark and i all coming out of the pits at the same time.
