November FM4 Rivals...

Hey guys... Get out there and start running this month's rivals... There is an official event tied to it... Not sure about prizes, but here is the article on the official FM site...

I've barely gone into the Rivals for FH. It doesn't seem as prominent. Or rather, not as easy to get to. Or is that just my impression of it?

One of them involves a Corvette at Indy. I suspect flashbacks might become common around here.

I've done some of the FH rivals, but they are not as accessible (as you pointed out Marm) as they are in FM4... I'm really starting to dislike how you access FH.. They need to change fast travel so that when I fast travel to the car show, it actually loads me into the car show interface... I like how the FH rivals are tied to the single player races though, but there is a lack of other content.... Where were the new rivals for November? I know we had a VIP rival, but where are the LB challenges, etc...

Anyhoo... I'm glad to see that there are still community events going in FM4... My thinking is the Community team is watching the populations, and working across both games.. I'm also now back in FM4 most of the time, with occasional trips into FH for Club Lobbies, Rivals, club management and PR Stunts...

But it's the GC and it's quite tame compared to the stock ZR1... I actually enjoyed that Rival! I have to build a car for the wagon one... The only B-Class I had that qualified was the Vandura, and that was hitting gate after gate after gate! LOL

I thinking that these self-contained Rivals series might be really cool to focus on for in-club competitions. In fact... what the hell. I'll put together a prize car or something for the best overall scoring member of the club across these four events. I'll check the scores at the end of the month (using inverse scoring rather than picking an arbitrary cutoff like T10 can) and the lowest (best) score will win. Might even do a top three (or five, or whatever, depending on how ambitious I get).

I remember doing that back when I couldn't drive manual on this game... I was angry that I couldn't get any closer than 3 seconds slower than his time...
