VIP Gift Cars

I got a VIP gift car yesterday, a Scion FR-S with a stunning Halo 4 livery.

I believe the Miura Concept is available, too, for those who got the Season Pass.

Oh thanks, Shin! I don't have the Miura but I jumped in to check out the Halo car. They did a great job on it.

There's an Eathole Donuts themed Evo 10 available - I assume it's a VIP gift. It's grey with pink. Pretty nice livery, actually.

Yeah, that Halo car is a work of art. Absolutely beautiful. Actually switched to one of the outside camera views when I drove it around

I haven't played Horizon in quite some time. Looks like I missed the donut car. That's lame. Don't you have 30 days to download stuff?

That 30-day limit is the stupidest thing. There was no limit in FM3 - when I finally bought VIP on sale (not that long before FM4 came out actually), I received a string of messages with all the VIP gift cars. It was an excellent surprise, because I didn't even know they gave out gift cars back then. I cannot understand why they introduced the time limit with FM4. I understand even less why they're keeping it

Edit: Oh, and practically every one of those FM3 VIP gifts had a special livery, usually promoting a new Microsoft game like Halo Reach or Alan Wake or something. So if they could keep special cars around for up to a year and a half then, I really don't see why they can't do it now.

They need to have some sort of VIP backlog email package...

I received a decorated Mugen Civic type R unicorn today in fm4, along with a painted Porsche. I dig the Dax's Garage theme even though it's a fm4 unicorn.

I'll let Shinnsoon announce if we got one in Horizon today. Mornings don't feel right without both my coffee and Shinnsoon posts.

I haven't played Horizon recently. (Still busy with Far Cry 3, currently searching for the last 2 Japanese letters since I refuse to buy the ingame maps showing you where everything is. Also, Rage got DLC more than a year after launch which made me all giddy because I loved that game. 2.16GB of DLC for a paltry 400MSP ... amazing.) But according to the FM.net forum there is indeed a little something.

Happy to hear about the Mugen Civic in FM4. With the NSX-R I got yesterday for posting in Johniwanna's RVM thread, that means I now have 15/17 unicorns

Thanks for the heads up, guys. We're driving to Florida this morning so I was sure to grab both sets of cars in case T10's draconian file expiration date kicks in before we return. I'm still irritated about missing out on the donutmobile. Bastards!

Anyway, I've got 12/17 unicorns in FM 4and that civic marks my first double.

So Horizon VIPs get the Ford Fiesta Zetec S with pretty much the same livery as the FM4 Civic and everyone gets a RUF Yellowbird with pretty much the same livery as the FM4 Rt 12 S. Very nice . I particularly like the blue liveries on the RUFs.

What an excellent week for Forza gifts! First the gorgeous, sleek 458 from beef. Then 5 cars from T10 (including 3 unicorns I didn't have). It must be Christmas

Horizon VIP is now available for purchase. It made them remember about VIP gift cars, so they sent one out. A Lamborghini with a paint by phREDESIGN of one of the Horizon racers.
