How a Differential Works
Let me start by restating that I don't know much about cars. I had really no interest in cars before Forza 4 came out, and I credit (blame?) Forza entirely for my newfound enthusiasm and appreciation of the topic. That said, there is still a lot (pretty much everything) that I need to learn. This is why I enjoyed this video so much.

Re: How a Differential Works
Oh man! You have only cracked the surface on all thinks Automotive! Next up: Start watching Top Gear and Fifth Gear, the Saturday/Sunday AM Powerblock on SpikeTV, subscribe to the Jay Leno's Garage YouTube Channel (and go to http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/ often), and all other Automotive programs, websites, etc you can find...
Re: How a Differential Works
Good god, that powerblock stuff is such a waste of time.
"I'm gonna put this in that car. Watch as I disassemble the car."
5 minutes later.
"And this is what it looks like/ sounds like/ performance enhancement etc".
Such a waste of a show. If you're gonna build something, show it. They gloss over so much. Complete waste of tv. Then again, I've switched cable companies and I have no idea where the hell SpikeTV is anymore.

LOL.... I am with you on the how-to part of the Powerbock.... I see it as Auto-Porn.... I just watch it for the cars, the dyno runs, the tips-n-tricks and Courtney!
Re: How a Differential Works
I've been catching up on Top Gear for awhile now. I dived into season 6, I believe, and have been watching every episode since. It's been a multi-month effort and I can't get through a workout on the treadmill without it anymore. I think I'm in season 12 or 13 now.
I learn a lot from them. My favorite bit so far has been when Capt. Slow went to Finland to learn how to rally race. Finns are...fantastic.
