Well...  The X-Bow will be in GT6 (it was in the E3 Trailer)...  Not sure about FM5...

Also...  As far as this thread goes, there will be about as many cars in FM5 as there are in FM4, so tracking them will become clumsy...  We should just track cars that official are in FM5 that were not in FM4 and those that were in FM4 that are not coming to FM5...

I really have nothing to do this summer, so I don't mind keeping a list of all the cars that are announced. What I will do is probably update the original post to keep a running list and then make another post that has the cars announced since I last updated it

IndyCars and 1976 F1 cars! I'm really looking forward to the Rush movie - hope it doesn't disappoint.

What Forza does is use the cars from the previous game (in game and all DLC) and then makes more DLC for the next game.  So, if you have every car pack, you are using almost every car that will be in FM5 until some DLC comes out.

They will probably have the Zonda Cinque in FM5.  But I hope they update the sound of it because it sounds kind of boring in FM4.

My question is why did they get it for fm4  but not 5?  It's not like fm5 was a surprise.  We knew they were working on it the day fm4 released.  So  turn 10  never stopped and asked about getting rights to add it to fm5? I  was ok with it  on fm4 because  it was the first time they used that excuse.

Actually, when the Porsche DLC came out, there was an article that I read about the whole thing, and it was noted in that article that 'a future such 'agreement' was unlikely'.  I seem to recall also that EVERY Porsche that DID make the DLC was an individual negotiation with EA.  It's not like EA just said 'Sure, go ahead...' and T10 got to put in whatever models they wanted....the license holder (EA/Porsche) had to agree to every Porsche that 'could' go into the game.

The really pissy news in that thread (imo) is that there is still no weather, and no night racing   I sure hope there is a bunch more news about the physics soon, or FM5 is coming off my list of new games for this year.

I am not surprised and I didn't expect it.  We'll have RUF, which is fine by me, and to be honest, the FM4 Porsches are really good, but not "great".  There are other cars that are better and more fun IMO.

Honestly, this is on Porsche's shoulders and on EA.  Porsche needs to renegotiate with EA to get out of the stupid agreement.  As much as I cannot stand EA, I really cannot blame them.  Porsche signed the agreement, and EA is reaping the rewards.  It's up to Porsche to change it.  Hopefully they do.

This doesn't just affect Forza...  It affects all non-EA racing titles (like GranTurismo).  All of the other manufacturers are smart enough not to sign exclusive agreements, so they can negotiate per-title agreements.  If Ferrari doesn't like the game series, then they won't allow their cars to be in it....

I'm also not surprised we're not getting weather or off-road, and I'm perfectly fine with that too...  Hopefully Turn 10 will work on a Forza Rally title for next year...  Forza Horizon was fun, but I'd rather have a Rally version game with WRC, Rally Cross and Road Rally racing (PTP style), and leave the open world story driven crap to the arcade titles....

It sounds like T10 is going to start announcing cars in groups every wednesday starting tomorrow. They gave out a couple hints and I think one hinted at either the mitsubishi eclipse or the eagle talon being in the game
