2014 FM4 Casual Weekly Lobby

I noticed that some of us are again active in FM4.  Included some of members that have FM5.  What do you guys think about having a Casual weekly lobby in FM4?  One day a week we set asside to hang out and play FM4....  December was the the last month of new monthly FM4 Rivals, and with the recent announcement by Sony not supporting some of their games online, you never know when the same might happen on Xbox.  Since there is still lobby support for FM3, I doubt that they will cut off FM4, but you never know what they will do to steer more people to XB1...

Anyhoo...

Instead of series races, I'm thinking we go with weekly or monthly themes...  Like C-B-A Class FWD, B-A-S Class AWD, or A-S-R3 Class Mid Engine RWD...  We can really make it as genric or specific as we want, but the goal here is to have as many of us in an FM4 Lobby as we can get. 

Most of us have tons of credits, and most of us will already have nicely tuned or favorite cars sitting in our garages for just about every class/config combo.  For those that do not have the credits, those of us that do are more than happy to help you out with gift cars and/or picking up your very overpriced auctions...

Thoughts?

Oh and for the rest of this month I suggest we make sure we have a nice selection FWD, RWD and AWD cars in Classes C, B and A... Most are going to be rusty or used to FM5, so let's take it easy to start... ;-)

Sounds good, I can do pretty much any week night or sunday night if that works for everyone else

But I just got done moving my PS3 to use with my wheel!  Now I have to move it back?! My first world problems, they are huge.

Looks like we are going to shoot for Monday nights. I've also added a few new members to the club lately so maybe we'll get some new interest. I can always post on our fm4.com thread and get more people if you want.

I'm also working on getting some racing going over at a Gaming Community I am working on getting off the ground with some friends... http://noqr.org .... We have several members who have FM4 and FH...

Mondays work really well for me too BTW...

Just so you know, they updated the fm.net forums so all the old threads have been deleted. We will probably have to start a new one

I like it! Of course, I'm always on FM4. I have picked up new games and free downloads to try.....then I go right back

Along as drivers ed doesn't get in the way, I'll be there.  Although I will suck due to the immense difference between consoles and games.

yeah I can only do drag racing now. I tried to do the rivals event at alps and I barely made it halfway up the club leaderboard, but maybe its because I was using an IROC Z Camaro....

I'm in,pending on time. My wife and I started fostering kids so I'm barely on to play anything.

That's pretty awesome Bob. This might be a chance to have family bonding time over some race cars.........

We got a brother and sister. the boy is 4 and the girl is 10. The boy is into tractors and tools. Not cars yet..... Yet  . Adoption is a possibility also. We got some great kids.

9pm EST is a little early for me...  I will be on around 10 EST...

I should be able to do whatever time everybody wants because I am pretty sure school will be cancelled here again tomorrow. It is supposed to be -20 degrees with 25 mph winds by the time we start school tomorrow according to the news

I get home from drivers ed at 9:15 tonight, so 9:30 would be great.  I tried playing this game earlier this week, and it wasn't that bad, so hopefully it will be enjoyable.

That was fun last night... Let's make it a regular thing... We get 6 or 8, we should do some cat-n-mouse!

I would like to suggest that we revive a series race each week for one slightly longer race. For example, we could do evo vs. wrx next week around Motegi for 6 laps and the week after that we can do A class muscle cars around sebring for 5 or 6 laps.

Just a thought, I think it would be pretty fun.
