Had to award Mark an unprecedented 5 point bonus though for quitting the race to attend to a family medical emergency, Forza was probably a nice warmup for a hurried run to the hospital in NYC traffic. Both races were notable this week, Wednesday night featured some impressively clean racing considering how tightly everyone was bunched for the duration. Sunday saw some blazing runs from our UK guys, and the leader of one of the top-ranked clubs in the world joined us as well. He actually ended up winning with a 30:28, but should be penalized about 10 minutes for gratuitous f-bombing (although bonus points for making a beer run during his pit stop). I'll work something out with him for a club vs. club showdown sometime, will post when I have details.
