Favorite Ride
This is my favorite ride. I never got to drive it as it was my assistants job and it was against policy.
But I did get to drive one of these on a training mission.
Got my leg wet in one of these as I drove through a 4 foot deep puddle. Water came in through the engine cowl.
The M113 can turn on a dime. Tag or soccer anyone???

Re: Favorite Ride
Nice stuff Wally. Posted some pics of the car I enjoyed driving the most. Was lucky enough to have a job where I was able to drive many exotic cars (although for very short distances). For some reason the Ford GT just made me happy when I was in it, even though it was nowhere near the flashiest or most expensive.

Re: Favorite Ride
Unfortunately, I have not had the pleasure of driving anything that fancy or exotic. Honestly, my favorite ride is my current car.... 2000 Toyota Celica GT! Although I did drive my in-laws Mercedes ML430 to Florida and Back. I guess that would qualify as one of my favorite rides. Fantastic car......
Now... If I get the chance to drive my in-laws 911 Cabriolet, I will let you know...

Re: Favorite Ride
Never drove anything exotic or near it really. I think the most expensive vehicle I have ever drove was a h3. The fastest car I ever drove was my friends mid low 12s Integra.

Re: Favorite Ride
was a Valet in my late teens, but that was over 20 years ago.... I can't really remember all of the cars I drove, but there were lots of Bimmers, Mercs, Lexus, infinity, Acura, Jags, etc...
Recently, the fastest cars I've driven were my buddy's 05 BMW 330c (with custom intake, headers, high flow cat, custom exhaust, and program).... VERY fast and grippy..... The other would be the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe I drove last week... VERY quick, but I didn't really drive it long enough to get the full feel...
I still love to drive my 2000 Celica GT. It handles great and feels very quick. In public roads, it's more fun to drive a slower car fast, than a faster car slow!!!

Re: Favorite Ride
I rented this car in 1982 when I proposed to my wife.
I bought this car for $250 back in about 1977. It started life as a rental car in Hollywood. I drove Blues Image in it (they had the one hit wonder "Ride Captain Ride") plus I drove another group; can't remember the name of the group but they had toured with Black Sabbath in Europe.
The picture of my '69 AMX is picture else where in this forum with music to drive by. I need another fun car.

Great song wally. I haven't had the chance to drive anything super fast or exotic or sweet or anything like that. But I do enjoy driving around in the family RAV4 V6...for an SUV/crossover type thing, it feels pretty light at quick, but thats when I'm the only one in the car.
