Forum "tweaks"...

Over the next 3-4 days, you may see a few tweaks to the U2SC forums. Please do not be alarmed... I am working through the admin panel, and there are some features that we are not currently using that are very handy...

A few that have been turned on already....

• Scrolling News at the top of the page
  
• Forum Signatures are not functioning... Let's try and keep them to small size... 480px wide X 100px tall as a max please!
  
• Forum ranks are now in place... Keep posting to see what is next... New Ranks hit at 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, and 1500 posts...

A few more "tweaks" to discuss...

• Points - Located just below you post count. Not really sure how it's calculated, but it's there.
  
• Reputation - Located in the upper right-hand corner of each post, is a "+/-". Click the "+" if you found the infromation in a post useful, funny, or any other reason you can think of. Click the "-" if you found the information pointless, spammy, incorrect, or any other reason. This bares no significance to Club rank or privilage. It just seems like a fun thing to have active.
  
• Members online in the past 24-hours. It's just nice to see who's been on in the past 24-hours as well as right now.
  
• Expanded the Marketplace into the U2SC Garage. Check it out, there more there now!

I am also looking for a couple of themes to put up for a club vote. The two proposed ones against the current theme...

You mean the silly letter that you need to copy in a box if you post too much? Not sure... I think it's built in spam and bot control. Still looking though...

I hate that, half of the time the letters are the same color as the lines and they put them right in the middle of the lines

Have you also limited the # of stickies allowed? Trying to get the Team USA thread as a sticky and it won't budge.

I moved the May results to the Archive and now I can sticky the Team USA thread.

Lou, great job on the site, it does look great, again I have no idea how you find the time. One small quibble that I have, not sure if it can be changed but it is the 'watch this topic for replies' link. I surf this site a lot from my iPhone or iPad and I often find I click that link when trying to advance to the next page of posts. Then I get a bunch of email messages whenever someone posts. Moving it to another area would help. IMO.
