Re: Juy Series Cars by Lou-ne-tunes - TESTERS NEEDED
I still need to test your A/S class cars but seeing as the race is today I may just test the S class cars and play with the ZR1 tune you sent me Lou(thanks btw). Hopefully I can get a few laps in before the race starts...I've been testing so many B class cars this week maybe I should just move down to B class

Re: Juy Series Cars by Lou-ne-tunes - TESTERS NEEDED
I do have one question for all of you.... All of my tunes are set up for Manual and not manual w/ clutch... What setting to you guys use on the Diff for decel? when tuning for Manual w/ clutch?
I'd like to start offering 2 versions of my tunes... Ones set up for Manual, and ones set up for manual with clutch....

I wouldn't have an answer for you regarding decel but they seem fine to me when I downshift. The back end is fine if I rev match...

Well... You are probably one of the few who rev-match on downshift...
Low.... the tune I sent you last night for the Mazda has a 5% decel... Drive the car as is first, and then apply the one with 5% decel and see if there is a difference... I'f I can figure out how to tune out the downshift oversteer w/o having to revmatch, I may actually go back to Manual w/clutch...
I'm not going to run tonight so I can work on that... I'll be running Friday night... Of course there could always be a last minute decision to run tonight!!!!!!

Now that I think of it, there is a bit of a slight "kick" when I downshift but I never noticed it before because I would be ready to correct it quickly without even noticing, I guess it's second nature to just be ready to keep that rear end in check

Lou.....dont know what you've tweaked on the rx8 tune but it got rid of the twitchy back end i kept suffering when downshifting, be interesting to see what happens when i get chance to test it on the indy circuit, seems to be the best car for my driving style though

I dropped the deceleration on the diff to 5%, but I don't remember if I synced that one or not.... hmmmmm... Anyway... That keeps the back-end in check when you downshift using Manual w/ clutch...

Sure.... If I'm not already on your Friends list, add me... If I am, shoot me an Xbox Live message so I don't forget! My memory sucks between the office (where I am now) and the house! In letting the day roll off, I drop all items not committed to long term memory!

Sent you the RX-8 tune last night!....
I've also updated the B-Class cars (but will update the Club garage tonight)... Anyone that wants one or all of the updated B-Class tunes, please shoot me an Xbox Live message. Remember, I may or may not remember to send it to you if you ask for it here.

I have not updated the Club garage yet, but when I do, the Week 2 color for my tunes is green.... If the car is green and it has the July vinyl, then it's tuned for Indy.
Ready to go: (both running mid-low 1:39.xxx)
E30 M3 & 190E: Tuned the Gearbox slightly; tuned the aero and suspension slightly;
Needs tuning:
Sierra - parts swaps and upgrades; total re-tune needed (yes enough has changed that I need to totally re-tune this car) - It is running mid 1:39.xxx in it's current state though!

I actually sent you two tunes... One with the diff set to 5% on decel... the other set to where I normally set it (between 30-35%)...
I'll also be working on tweaking this tune for Indy (for Low since he doesn't tune).... I'll send that one over to you once I have it dialed in as well...

by the way,the tune where you turned the diff down to 5% really reduced the power oversteer exiting corners,at least for me anyway
