I think I'll be messing around with the Fiero. Something new and wacky to use in a series race. Especially with a v8 under the hood. It likes to spin it's wheels but its a fun car!

Need tunes for those Wally? I'll slap FMTC base tunes on all three and send them your way...

Using the Honda NSX, just can't choose between better tyres or a little extra power.
If there's points for liveries, we should have a thread to post them all in. Is it points for all good liveries or like a contest?

From my experience, tires. You lose more time in the turns than you make up on the straights. Now, if this was something like Road America, then there'd be an issue.

Re: What series cars are you using for September?
That's what I used to think, until last series I managed to keep magic behind me for several turns, only to lose the place without him even trying on the straight. If I was hot lapping I'd usually go with the tyres, but its easier to pass someone on a straight than in a corner, especially if your car is faster. Mugello is pretty straight with similar corners and the long start/finish. For the qualifier on the ring I'm leaning heavily towards tyres, but there is still that massive straight at the end. Suppose all I can do is test both options
Re: What series cars are you using for September?
I dunno what to tell you. Depends on you I guess. In the pickup lobby I was able to put enough of a gap that sniper couldn't close enough on the straight.
Based on times that people have mentioned (frank running a 2:02), I 1 sec slower, it'll be close or assuming I'm chasing him, he will just tease me being so close.

Re: What series cars are you using for September?
I tweaked my tune for the F355 so that it didn't lose the back end out of turns as frequently, but it turns out I made it worse... the best I can get now is a mid-high 2:04. maybe bringing down the aero and increasing the tire temps/camer a little more will help me get the turn-in response I want with the faster lap times I need

Now I can't decide which car to run this week! Countach, V8 Fiero, or Frank's 512TR. The countach is just a fun car with a very satisfying sound. The Fiero is pretty wacky especially since the paint I got makes it look like a 512TR . And Frank's car is just a blast to drive it feels like its on rails!
I'm running around 2:03 comfortably with these cars so it's just a matter of preference really. Maybe I'll leave it up to a coin toss.

It is quite fitting isn't it? That's what folks used to do with it.

Re: What series cars are you using for September?
I'll be ready to run by Fri night hopefully. I have two cars tuned and painted, but I'm not sure which one I will get out to play. I have the 77 T/A, it's got gobs of power and handles decent with just the right amount of oversteer to be fun. It's loose and fast. My second choice is the BMW 2002 Turbo, its quick and handles well as long as you keep it off the curbs. In which case it barrell rolls and all fun is over. I need to tweak it a bit more. I will post pics later

Eric... Do you need a less rolly-polly tune for the 2002? I can throw one together for you tonight...
Re: What series cars are you using for September?
I would appreciate it, I have it wanting to roll less by adjusting the damping. It's better, but not great.

Re: What series cars are you using for September?
Reducing Bump will reduce the tendency to roll over on all tracks EXCEPT Maple Valley where ALL cars no matter the tune are susceptible to roll-overs...

I was confused for a second there. As in, "Eric is not ten years old!" Re: BMW 2002 (as oppposed to 2002 BMW).

might have over done the vinyls, and unfortunately the bumper sticker isn't original, saw it on the back of a car near my house
Re: What series cars are you using for September?
Well done sir. Although I think it could use more boobies.

I like Boobies!!!
Nicely done sir... How about a U2SC bumper sticker? U2SC - We stop for Boobies! (this will be more relevant in Forza Horizon!)

It will always need more boobies, you can never have too many. I was thinking of making some U2SC bumper stickers actually, something to do with being an average joe or something.

That would be great. I just pick up the 55' vet from this months choices and the other 50-55 car (can't remember which one that is now). I like the fin on the vet.
