September Race Poll

Choose What you want for September! Also... We need someone to organize.. If no one wants to, I'll do my best to get it ready!

EDIT: Changed the Following!
- Split the S-Class challenged into two different races. One is Asia Front Engine RWD ONLY, and the other is Euro RWD (mid, front or rear engine)
- Changed the Roadster Challenger to A-Class
- Set the Miata and Before your were born races to B-Class
- Removed the FWD challenge since no one has voted for that one!
- Added the IRON MAN option, where we take the top 4 race configs voted here and do one of them each week! (Beef's idea really!)

I'll setup the series if needs be. If we do the year you were born, w could probably set it up like a chump car challenge.

is the first choice R3 or R2 because it says both...

I know its a little late to submit ideas, but an M3 GTR spec series would be very fun

That would be... For those that don't have it, I guess the'd have to use one in the garage?

Or maybe just a unicorn challenge?

But that means if you don't have the NSX-R GT, you lose! It's that good...

Added the M3 GTR spec race as well as allowed for multiple selections... See the OP for details...

I like the idea of another spec series....the Civic series was awesome.

Agreed! Another spec series with drag tires would be extremely interesting now that we've got a ton of people participating in the series races on a regular basis.

For the birth year, is there like a 2 or 3 year window? There ain't nothing from '76. There's quite a bit from '77 though.

That being said, my vote has been cast for the M3. Go with the spec. Seeing as how all the regular participants got one.

Anything but FWD. Can't stand that thing.

Or since it's been what, 7 months since our first club series (well, I wasn't around in Feb, so I don't know if anything had started then), we go back to green hell. A Class once again.

....as I sit here watching the Continental Sports car @ Indy....here's a condition we should try....if we do a spec series, let's ban Forza Aero bits....these cars in stock trim look awesome racing out there

Spec miata?

I think the spec series would be great because it is so tough to tune that car correctly. I have spent hours tuning it and I am still getting some excess wheel spin at the exit of some corners

It might be slow and boring to drive, but if you've got 12 people around you trying to win it shouldn't be boring at all . Plus keeping it a low class keeps everyone tighter. If you were to make a mistake in lets say an R1 car, it'd be harder to catch up/recover as opposed to a C class car.

I like that idea, plus a lower class might be easier for the new guys to slide into the group.

I can start piecing together a miata series if everyone wants. Kind of make it like an actual playboy championship where everyone has a sponsor on their car and matching decals and stuff. Also if we do this, I think we decided to stay away from drag tires on spec series and do we want the suspension to be adjustable or keep it at street level to where everyone is identical. Then it would really be a drivers cup.

I think keeping all the upgrades to max out at sport would be ideal. Leaving the driver to figure the car out for themselves, it would truly be a drivers cup. It might be a tough car to drive for some, but tuning can't replace technique

A low (pun intended) class miata spec race would be a lot of fun. Can we throw 20 or so laps at Positano in there one week if that's what we decide to do? With a reverse for the qualifier just to mess with everyone's heads!

Ok everyone, I just added the spec miata option to the poll. You can cancel your vote and select that (or any other) class option.

Might not do well, but I'll be there.

The Miata series is picking up steam. What gen are you leaning towards Low?

A low class Series with all parts at sport and without Forza Aero.... means no tuning exept the tire pressure...

This is not really what I like but if it gets the votes... I will drive the races without any test sessions so I will be 2-4 seconds slower in this Series.
