Yeah I'm leaning toward 5 years from your year of birth (I.E. I was born in 86 so my choices are from 86-81. No holds barred and anything goes! Been wanting to find a reason to shove that v8 into that tiny little car and then throw on 24s? Well here is your chance. I'm wanting to take this back to the roots and just have crazy fun with it. I will be setting this series up but will not be here the first week of september as that is my vacation. I'll reveal all the details later this month.

Thanks lou. I appreciate the help. I do agree on the bonus points too. It's helps add a little fun into it.

just to add one more idea to how we can restrict the year, how about a car from the decade you were born in? it gives you a few more options...

Please remember that we do have peeps that were born in the 90's... So me, and the rest of the 70's are gonna have fun with this one... I think I already know what my Circuit car will be.... And my drag car... Just need to find a drift car! Muscle, Muscle and more Muscle...

I think I have my cars selected. it all depends on what kind of year restriction we are going to have. my favorite one so far is the BMW M1, but I would only be able to use it if it was your birth year and before. it looks like I will probably be using the F355 berlinetta or the Corvette C4 Grand Sport for any other restriction. it all really depends on which one I like more because the stats are just about the same

I've built a 1973 Porsche Carrera up to A class for what will probably be my default car (I'm 1976, so if we have Birth minus 5 I can go to 1971). Depending on the specific races I've got my eyes on a couple of others. What's going to be fun is working on period-specific paint jobs.

I did the same with an undisclosed car ... Once I get a tune on it it's gonna be a BEAST!!

1972 - 5 = 1967, so I have some other options as well..!

Low is putting this one together, but the rules should be far and few between.. while we will need to wait for low's official announcement thread, he is leaning towards Production cars from your birth year and 5 years prior. No restrictions on the build other than max pi of 600.

ok, so based on what we think the rules are going to be, I have chosen my car. Its the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta, here are some pictures of it. I went with a Tampa Bay Buccaneers design for the start of the football season:
