F1 Online - The Game

Another racenet title by Codemasters. This time it's a free to play browser based game.

I don't usually enjoy free to play browser games. I'm suspicious of the money trap and critical of the quality. Some of this is prejudice from the word "browser" being in the title.

I must say, though, that I am kind of enjoying this one. I just lost a lunch hour playing it and I could see myself losing a few more. It's fun enough for killing some time.

Most free-to-play browser based games of this caliber are actually locally installed clients (see battlefield play-for-free and battlefield heros).
