Mechwarrior Online

For those of you who are fans of the Battle Tech universe and Mechwarrior, there is a new game on the horizon. I am in the closed beta for Mechwarrior Online and it's pretty fun. It will be a Play For Free game on the PC, and it's basically a FPS inside of big robots. It's kind of like if you melded a traditional FPS, Flight Sim and Tank game all into one. It's lots of fun, and for you PC gamers I recommend keeping an eye on it... It's not really an MMO, but it is online and Multiplayer. It's closer to a Battlefield 3 type game with tracked progression and online "rounds".

I've been reading about this and it looks like fun. Not sure if our old PC will be able to handle it though.

Yes it is a laptop, but it was, at the time, one of the best gaming laptops out there (early 2009). It's a Gateway FX, and it still runs BF3 (25 FPS), MechWarrior Online (20-25 FPS), Diablo III (25-35 FPS), and Planetside 2 (1-25 FPS.... yes 1 fps)...
