Online free roam

So a about 5 of us were in a free roaming lobby and it was amazing. Nub gets a barn find notification and it is one that i've been to. I set a group marker to the barn and kind of let Nub "cheat". We can help each other with finding signs and barns. And other stuff too. Driving around everywhere is really fun. There was some competition. With the speed traps and things like that. Nub actually pushed me to 226 mph in one of them. Still only 4% in the world for that though.

Yeah, this game is amazing. I was just telling my wife how we were all online, essentially doing "nothing in particular", and it was a REALLY good time. Thanks for pushing me on that barn find, I was genuinely disappointed thinking I blew my chance because I didn't press 'X' in time.

226 mph. Ridiculous. I was thinking though, is it better to aim for speed zones and traps in free roam mode since the traffic isn't around? I'll definitely still muck with them in single player, but that empty freeway is not to be taken for granted on some of those.

Oh, and weirdly enough, Beef crashed into some stuff.

Yeah... Free roam is fun... We need to do the Free Roam challenges too... Been reading more on them, and there are rewards...

BTW... Sorry about not being online last night. I fell asleep watching TV before 8pm (central)... I work up around midnight, took a shower, and went back to bed...

free roam is great. the thing I like most about it is that you can join in whenever you want and nobody has to back out to let somebody in

Really? So no eight person limit? That's pretty cool. I hung out for a little while last night but couldn't stay too long. Just cruised around and found some discount signs.

I got some serious air in that lobby. I think my record right now is 350 feet (1/3 of my record in FM4 with the ramp glitch in a bugatti SS). I also got a BMW M1 so I was fairly happy with that

Yeah me and a friend did the ferrari challenge earlier...Those co-op challenges are pretty interesting, maybe we could get some people together for those 8-man challenges!

Free Roam (FR) is tons of fun when you start running the challenges... We need to do a night this weekend where we do the 8000 mile run... 8 of us in really fast cars running the outer loop as fast as we can until we hit 8k... It may take a while, but the credits are so worth it!

I'm loving the FR P2P challenges... At 25k credits + a pop, it was a money maker for all of us last night! Looking forward to running more tonight, but I may need a nap... I got sucked into single player last night after the lobby and didn't head to bed until 4am central (that's 5am eastern) and was still at work this morning by 8:30-ish central.... I'm pretty friggin tired, but I got my Blue wristband and tuned a lot of my garage... I'll share some of them in the club garage and happily pass the configs to the club!

I can hear you guys through the mic, its just the mic part of the headset is all screwy. And if I'm every making you guys echo just let me know...Whenever I see my mic icon flash like I'm talking I know I'm echoing but sometimes it'll echo without me knowing so yeah, just give me a heads up so I don't annoy you guys with the echoing.

I see how it works now. I'm glad you don't have to it all at once! So you get the total miles driven for everyone with you in free roam, right?

That was a blast last night! Sniper, beef, Rickenbacker, and I did that I-70 (200+ mph for the whole stretch) challenge. It probably took about a half dozen tries but was very satisfying when we pulled it off. It was funny because all four of us accidentally took the quick exit/entrance ramp. Still counted though.

I'd like to help knock off that eight person challenge sometime.

Yeah free roam is fun to screw around in, I joined in a bit later and me beef and sniper did a few of the night driving challenges. And then we made up our own road trip challenge thingy, which was quite amusing.

From all the challenges we did last night, I earned 2,300,000cr.

Woooo! That there be some cash. Lou has been saying it's lucrative but I haven't seen it for myself yet. Last few times I got an invite it was actually not a good time for me to play multiplayer. Reckon I could join and not mic up, but that's kinda lame.
