U2SC 2013 FM4 Cub Series Race Schedule

Since we have the remainder of 2012 covered as far as series races go, we need to begin planning the race schedule for 2013. Below is the list that I will populate as people sign up to create and run a month. With the holidays coming and since I have another idea brewing in my head, I will go ahead and take January 2012… The rest is up for grabs… Please reply to this thread with the month you'd like to take and your general idea. Please remember to keep it as straight forward as possible.

I would like to do an SUV series in May

I really like the spec series idea, and I think they worked out pretty well, so I would like a Ferrari Maranello Spec Series.

I love that car. I'm not sure why I haven't bought one yet, so I guess this is a pretty good reason

This is another one of my all time favorite cars. Everybody should have one.

Should I turbocharge the Maranello? This car is fast already but it could be interesting. And I changed the car around so that there is less tuning. Like Lou said, more driver focused races are generally more fun and close.

And such historic(-ish) tracks as:
*Le Mans (Old Circuit)
*Nurburgring Nordschleife
*Silverstone
*Rally di Positano

This will potentially be an expensive series (some of the cars run over 5M Credits) so start saving credits now!

(I do realize that this series utilizes many cars from DLC packs. I'm more than willing to revise it a little bit if upon testing any cars from DLC packs outclass the others by way too much.)

C class? Awesome! I've been hoping for a "slow" car series.

Jason beat me to July! With a really well fleshed out plan, to boot. I'll take August. I would like to run a multi-class, as I really dug the last one we did.

GREAT stuff JAson... I've put you in June instead of July... The Modern Muscle series is just a place-holder...

I've been racing through the single-player Event List (have the first row almost 2/3 complete) and I was totally inspired by the Porsche 550 Spyder Spec race at di Positano. Running the tiny roadsters through the narrow streets was actually *fun*. Hopefully going up to C from F-class won't make it suck, but most of the cars on that list come stock in C-class (otherwise I'd be doing an E- or D-class series!)

EDIT: Also, I've got to decide if I want to add the 1953 Corvette, the BMW 507 and the Mercedes 300 Gullwing. The 'Vette didn't really start road racing until the Stingray era, the BMW is borderline late, and the 300 would be the only full-cockpit car in the series (the 300 SLR is B-class, too high for the series). Still, it would be nice to have a token American car in the race as well as giving Mercedes a representative (they stopped racing for decades after the 1955 Le Mans crash so there's not the usual "small roadster race car" that the other Euro guys have).

Well Mark and Vlagra would have to be in F class. Just to make it fair.

Awesome... BTW.. The Tesla works well in A class too... If we separate the classes too much, the AI will be a big problem at the end of the race...
