That's because I'm still building it.beefsupreme42 wrote:I don't remember driving this...Lowflyinmx3 wrote:or a Porsche of punishment (800 hp 914).
heres an idea: you submit one and have 2 other people submit the other 2. I think the del slow was the best, but if you made one with the alignment settings of the pinto, the braking of the del slow, the suspension/roll bar settings for sniper's rolling jeep and make the gearbox have a 6.1 final drive and every gear as high as it will go, I think you might have the perfect tune

Re: Facebook Rivals (win a unicorn)
So it was an Aston V8 A600 around the Bernese Alps. I didn't join the chat thing, but the community came up with a lovely tune. I got it from Johniwanna's SF and ran a couple of laps around midnight. It handles exquisitely. The brakes are fashioned from two pieces of apricot flavoured bubblegum that sometimes kind of grab onto each other as they pass. Braking is a very smooth, gentle experience, although the end can be a bit abrupt at times. The tyres were moulded from naturally sun-hardened rubber found scattered around a scrapyard that hasn't been used since 2003 and experiences a searing month-long heatwave every year. Consequently, grip is fantastic. Still, there was a degree of challenge involved. Maintaining a straight line at speed, for example. I have a feeling unicorns are inbound ...

I don't think that tune was bad enough - I tried it out and saw that some people were running 2:30's in it. If you want to see what I created (Just a hint - you will be lucky if you can get a time under 4 minutes), head over to the club garage and test it out

It doesn't matter what they vote for. As long as you set a lap and vote in the poll with the gamertag you set your lap with, you'll get the specific car you voted for. Unless you still can't log into FM.net ... did you get that sorted out?

Next Facebook Challenge (#5) will be back on Horizon on Feb 25, which is ... next Monday. Ayo Jube will face the challenge, whatever it may be.

Re: Facebook Rivals (win a unicorn)
Facebook Rivals #6 is up today at 10:30 am PST.
Sergent Awesome is going to be excited ...John [Hull] will attempt to drift a short-wheelbase car that is a little tough to get sideways. Once the event is live, John will be given as much time as needed to confer with the community in the chat room for help in tuning. But here’s the rub: he can only change one setting on the car. Once the single tuning option has been decided, John will be given the point total he needs to beat and he can begin drifting. He will be given two laps to accomplish that score; if he fails, he will have to put on the Forza Shame Suit (which Ian happily sent back Stateside this week) in order to keep the unicorn dream alive for the community.
