Celebrating the Release of New Cars with racing! and prizes!
New car pack announced for April 3rd with some interesting new cars to drive. As we did last time I'd like to host some racing that night from 10 to 12. We will do all stock tunes and pick random circuits to drive on. At the end of the session the top three can pick a car and I'll buy it for them(no repeats... im not dropping 7 million on 3 astons!). If you think you might be interested let me know!

If I'm on I'll definitely join to check out the new cars, I must admit I haven't driven probably half of the dlc cars that came out already. Wouldn't have to worry about buying any cars for me though if I was in the top 3(not to make myself sound like im full of myself ) I seem to have an attachment to my credits and I just can't seem to spend them on anything lol.

I will be picking up an XKR-S though.... I want to see what I can do with that car... I'll probably end up with the Quattroporte, SLS, RX-7, Caddy, and the Volvo Wagon (yes really).... I know... I'm a car whore!! LOL
Re: Celebrating the Release of New Cars with racing! and prizes!
HOW DARE YOU TURN DOWN MY CARS!
Eh... not really! I'm about the same as you Mark, I'm pretty happy with most of my tunes and since I'm not buying a whole lot of R1 cars I've got some extra in the bank. Doesn't matter if you want a car or not its just a cheap ploy to get more folks on for it!

I'm off next week so I should be able to stay up "late" for this. That Cadillac should be good for a laugh.

Yeah that Cadillac does look like it could be good fun. Maybe we can pit that car against last months County squire...

Either that... or the Corvair... depending on how slow it is. Both are essentially boats with wheels.

I am in. Had fun the last time we did this. I hung around for a couple of races. This month, I was thinking of buying all the cars, I like all of them.
will try to hang around for a bit more.

Are we still doing the April DLC run tonight? What time?
I may be on early, and then on later in the evening. The kids are on Spring Break this week, and my Wife is taking the girls to Chattanooga to the Aquarium today (about a 2.5 hour drive each way without traffic). Once they get home, I will be visiting with the family and getting the girls ready for and in bed. I may not be back on until after 10:30pm Eastern....
(you happy now Marm? BTW... Thanks.. I flaked on it...)

I'm still planning on being on for it. As soon as I get home I'll be on and send out the invites(10ish). If you aren't on right away feel free to join up or msg me if you need an invite. Now that you are on the proper thread I'm sure marm will forgive you Lou!

Hey.... That was not the intent... I admitted you were right. Don't you think that's enough? Do you understand how difficult that was for me!!!!

See uncle, there was no feud. We just avoided each other completely.

Re: Celebrating the Release of New Cars with racing! and prizes!
LOL.... Not intentionally... Dana and the girls got back from their road trip a little late, and I took care of the girls last night. By the time I came down from putting them to bed, it was 10:00 Central. I was dead on my feet, so I just watched a little TV and went to bed... Did you guys have fun?
Re: Celebrating the Release of New Cars with racing! and prizes!
I was there for the practice suzuka run...the '59 cadillac, the merc and the rx-7. Really fun races. My god converge was quick on the cold tires at suzuka. I forgot we were on cold drag tires and I was using the controller as I couldnt use the wheel at the time, and I slid a lot on the first lap. Looking forward to having everyone else on the track tonight. Poor tires on the cadillac lol, so much tire flex! The merc's really heavy but its got a lot of OOMPH to it . And that rx-7 really likes to slide. We should do this again for the porsche pack if anyone plans on getting it

Re: Celebrating the Release of New Cars with racing! and prizes!
I was there for only a few races. Caddy, RX7, Scion, 850 and the M5. SWViper's was doin' well last night as well. Mark and Converge were 1s+ ahead of the pack. I was suffering some lag issues. Somehow, Dash ghosted through me (dunno how that happened) and then he shot off like a bullet to the grass. Sorry Dash. I called inside and we were clear of each other. Dunno what happened there.
