I do believe this will be held on April 14th. Somewhere around 10 or 11 PM EST.

I will update the first post.

Conditions are as follows:
Full simulation.
No assists AT ALL (I will be forcing them off). The only assist available to you will be transmission.
Loser has to gift their car to the winner.

This is a race to the finish. However, this may become a "Last Man Standing". Whichever.

Awesome news.... I do want to make one point... If you've used locked graphics on your car, you will not be able to gift it or sell it on the AH... So.... With mine, I will need to remove all of the SF locked vinyls prior to gifting (meaning you'll get the color scheme, rainbow stripes and number plate, but no my little pony stuff since that is all off the SF).... If I run the VW Fox, you will get the full design (yet to be shown here)... Wink

So you lose the graphics. No biggie.

Just take photos and then gift the car.

Lou you are so not right. I'm am cracking up right now. Whoever gets stuck behind you has to stare at a heart shaped horses ass, complete with sculpted ass cheeks. 10 points my good friend.

One last thing...

"SORRY!"

There...that's out of the way, now no one needs to say it during race...cuz let's be honest, this is going to be a gigantic orgy of tire smoke and car parts flying all over the place.

Lou are you still using the controller for this? I think I'm going to use it instead of the wheel...I drift better with controller, and occasionally, that seems to be a legitimate race strategy with this car.

Same reason why I'll be using my controller for this too. And I find that when you crash with the wheel its just that much harder to correct...ever get a wheel or 2 on the grass with the wheel? It's impossible to get back on track.

Well.... I'm going to try and do a few test runs before the 15th.... at least one with the controller and one without... I'm also going to try automatic trans as well....

Mark... I don't have issues getting off the grass with my wheel. While it feels different and wants to pull you in, get off the gas and turn back to the track... Also, Play with your FF settings...

Yeah the wheel gets really violent when I get onto the grass, ill see if any setting changes can help.

If not I could just stay off the grass altogether lol!

LOL.... No, but it'll be a lot of fun!!! I have yet to run a complete lap on that track.. It should be VERY interesting to say the least... I expect to be parked somewhere on the track during the first lap in a ball of fire and smoke... Especially with you out there... I think you still owe me one from last night! Very Happy

I've found the car really comes into it's own with about 65% damage, so yeah, all set Suspect

I'm all set, it's as "tuned" as I can get it. I use the term "tuned" very lightly Laughing

Was a fun race up to the point my car wouldn't go over 70 downhill... Took my broken car 52 minutes to do 5 laps around that maze.

Sorry I had to leave last night. Son came to me from bed had just thrown up. There went my race. Did Marm win? Are we gifting our cars to him. I had fun for the 2.5 laps I was in. Love to try that again.

So pissed I missed it. My sister called and needed me to come get my nephew because she was going into labor with her second baby. I'll still gift my car to the winner. Who won? Any pics?

Keep your cars.

PLEASE!

We can do it again (different track).

I couldn't hear Lou's suggestion on Kaido. Had fun.

My only incident was in the beginning where SW just used me as his brakes through those switchbacks. After that though, I hit Keemo (I think) on one turn, a victim of following a leader.

As it turns out, with no braking line, I use a lot of 'stuff' as my brakes, yet seldom my ACTUAL brakes Very Happy

Fischs, hope your little guy is feeling better, Low, congrats on being an uncle again! Marm, you'll take that pink and white Toyota and like it mister...wait'll you see the next one...

**edit: couple pics up on my storefront...more later, have some 'wife' stuff to do today**
Anyone catch the ALMS race yesterday? Was pretty good...lot of interesting stuff in GT as always.

That was crazy! My diabolical (incidental) plan to drive slowly and overtake broken cars helped me move up four spots. Razz Congrats, marm.

My suggestion was to treat Kaido like a rally time trial... I think the worst enemy on that track are the turns an walls, and not the other drivers. If we do a 10-15 second staggered start, we should spread out enough to only have to worry about the course.... We could do the same on the Nur.Nord.....

I would actually love to do it again on Fujimi, with the same set-up, but I suggest limited damage instead of Simulated. Limited will still hurt the cars and slow you to a crawl, but I can tell you from being knocked out at the beginning of lap 3, I was bored as hell for the next 30 minutes. Since there isn't a pit, I think limited is the way to go. This could be a legit Monthly event Marm....!

BTW... The 30 minute wait was worth the crashing finishes.... I haven't watched the replay yet, but those flips and spins were AWESOME real time!
