Re: Around the World in 80 minutes
Yeah, I mentioned Daytona... and upon doing some research, it looks like that in the late 60's there wasn't really a trend of putting logos for the race onto the cars yet. It looks like there was a race-wide sponsor logo from Camel by the 1973 24/Daytona, but still working on finding clear pics for it.
I might just make something kind of generic based on my SCCA-style U2SC Club sticker. *shrug*

Or just do the Camel thing.... Smoking was huge then... That would be fitting!

Chief: (Talking to Mack) "Put that goddamn thing away!!"

Re: Around the World in 80 minutes
So... I will be on Saturday night... IF we don't have enough on, I will scratch this as a 1-time event, and work it up as a Monthly series for Oct/Nov/Dec.... and we'll add in a free-for-all race the last week!

Re: Around the World in 80 minutes
You can go anywhere pretty quick in the virtual world... Hell... We are having a conversation in the UK right and You're in CA and I'm in the US... Cool...
Re: Around the World in 80 minutes
Alright.... I'll be on at 10:30 EDT to see how many we'll have for this...
If we don't have at least 8 it's not really going to come off... I'l work it up as a series.... Possibly October... November if Marm does the Bond series!

Re: Around the World in 80 minutes
We ran last night..... It was a good time, and it took us about.... 80 minutes!
Asia Champ = Beef (Toyota MR2-S) - Runnerup: Lou (Nissan 370z)
USA champ = Beef (Mustang Boss) - Runnerup: Lou (Mustang Boss)
Euro Champ = Case (Mp4-12c) - Runnerup: Marm (Zagato)
Beef was the big winner last night, taking two of the three races (with me coming in second in both his wins)....
Case took Silverstone in an impressive middle of the pack victory in the McLaren MP4-12C; with Marm closing in his Zagato (not really on the list, be we allowed it)
Participants: Lou, Beef, Jason, Case, Low, Marm, Cash
We also played several health rounds of Cat-n-Mouse and found 2 more worthy tracks.... Camino Extreme and (believe or not) 1-lap on the RING!
