Tuner Series Sign-ups

Alright guys... Here is the thread... and here is what we need...

Tuners:
The tuners will generate the tunes that will be raced by the drivers. the tuners will tune the same cars, apply the custom livery (generated by the artists below), and share them in the Club Garage.

Designers:
This group will be paired up with a Tuner (after the car/track selection is complete) and generate Liveries for each of the cars

Drivers:
Simple... You drive the tunes....

• All members of U2SC are Drivers (including the Tuners and Designers)
  

Rules:

1. Tuners will tune 4 cars in 4 different classes for 4 different tracks. Each Designer will will pick a car for each class. Each Tuner will pick a track for each class. The final cars and tracks will be voted on and determined by the by the Drivers, Tuners and Designers.
   S-Class: Car = TBD; Track = TBD; Max PI = 700
   A-Class: Car = TBD; Track = TBD; Max PI = 600
   B-Class: Car = TBD; Track = TBD; Max PI = 500
   C-Class: Car = TBD; Track = TBD; Max PI = 425
   
2. Each Designer will generate U2SC themed Liveries for each of their assigned tuner's car. The Tuner doesn't have to have any input on the design, but the designer must use all of the parts the tuner specs. The designers may suggest body parts and wheels, but please keep in mind that these have effects on the tune...
   
3. Running of the Tunes: TBD
   It is still being discussed whether this will be a LB challenge tied to the U2SC LB challenge or if it will be an actual scheduled event. While scheduled events are cool, we are entering a very busy time of the year. It can actually be a bit of both. More here later....
   
4. Win Conditions: TBD
   Each driver will drive ALL of the tuned cars for that class. Since tunes are both objective and subjective, we are also discussing how to determine a winner. More here later.
   
5. Prizes: TBD
   But it will be something cool....
   

OK... So since we are still in the early stages of this event, let's just get the sign-ups going. Specifically for the Tuners and Designers...

I will claim one of the designer positions. Will we be randomly paired up, or do we get to choose?

Not sure.... We can let the designers choose the tuners.... But we probably need to determine selection order at random...

Do you think we should have a poll for the cars that we will be using in each class?

That is how I was thinking we determine the car for each class from the submissions as well.... The tracks would be the same way...!

I'm in. This should be like this one week for testing the tunes then we make a race with the favorite tune after the race everyone saves the replay and put it on his SF with the name of the tuner he votes for.

I had a few ideas for the cars we could use
C class: Citroen DS3, Mazda MX5 Roadster Coupe, Nissan Silvia CLUB Ks, MINI Cooper S
B class: Ford Focus ST, Ford Escort RS Cosworth, Honda Civic Si Coupe, BMW M5
A class: Mazda RX-7, Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged, Audi S4, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR
S class: Jaguar XKR-S, Aston Martin DB9 Coupe, Dodge Viper SRT 10ACR, Lamborghini Gallardo

Don't forget the Porsche DLC cars... We're only 12 days away!!!

I can't wait for that. The only reason why I didn't include that is that we can't really expect everyone who is participating to download this pack. Maybe if we get enough people who are participating to download the porsche pack we could include it. Maybe a 911 GT2 if it is in the pack?

I will buy the Porsche pack just to complete the game... I hope that next month the new viper will be released so I can bite every Porsche.
