Case!
I've got a few working tunes...
I have an A-600 tune that will do the 1/4 in just a hair over 12 seconds...
I have an S-649 tune that will do the 1/4 in 11.4xx
I wil lbe creating a S-700 tune later tonight after I get the girls to bed, but I have to use the Viper engine. the Challenger engine with SC maxes out at S-677ish and still cannot touch the LB times. I'm going to see what the viper engine can do!

I'll actually send along 4 tunes... A-600, S-649 (max w/o SC), S-677ish (max w/ SC) and an S-700 w/ viper engine.... All 4 tunes are RWD...

I just have to dial in the trans for each tune.... All 4 are drop catch tuned and I will let you know the hold RPM and the catch RPM for the best times. Drop catch is the BEST way to get good times! I didn't get the Pole 4 weeks in a row with a pogo stick! Very Happy

I will try to be as active as I can with all of this. As for the paint/design work. I do best just playing around with the cars, if someone wants something in particular it's hit or miss with me. I will create a thread soon with my available liveries and vinyl groups. I'll drive anything, so test driving sounds fun. This will also help with the tuning apprenticeship I think.

OK Beef... You now have 3 drag tunes for the Challenger. All of them are Drop Catch tuned, and they are quick, but not LB quick.

To launch all three... Hold RPM's where it's just barely bouncing off the rev limiter. Once the RPMs drop to 2500 afther the start, FLOOR IT!!!... Al three are build with 6-speed trans tuned down to 4-speed for more pull. Let me know what you think...

I had to trash the Viper engine swap. It was heavy and it was overpowering the rears...

I just realized it was CASE that needed the Drag tunes... You needed the 997 tune... 997 base tune sent over... Let me know what you think!

OK... That sucked.... Out with the club garage tool and in with a tool for us to track orders, progress and catalogs.... I'll be working on it while I'm on vacation, and will hopefully have a working tool on my web site the week after next!

I was wondering what you were sending me drag tunes for but I just guessed that I probably asked for them earlier. I'll let you know what I think about the porsche tune (I probably won't have any complaints because your tunes are great Very Happy

). Oh, I just remembered, I should probably be asking for tuning help on your tuning thread (that would probably make more sense Wink

)

The 997 GT2RS tune is a start... It grips well, but is not good on twisty tracks... I tested it on Cat GP and Infineon Full.. It did great on CatGP, and was proving quite challenging on Inf...

I must be hard to make a tune for infineon. There are so many twists, turns and elevation changes that it just seems almost impossible to tune for

That's the point of testing there! You need a good tune to run well Wink

It runs really well on CatGP and other GP tracks... The tune needs Some testing... I'll put together a test car and get in the club garage tonight! I also have a little present for all of the Tuners... Check over in the Student section in a few minutes!!!!!

Would just like to say I was not fond of the Zonda I was driving at last nights race. The understeer was terrible, front tyres were up 30 degrees on the rear. Was nearly as bad as the Gumpert I put in the garage...
