Figure we could use a thread to throw some LeMans comments around today.

I hope Toyota does well, not expecting them to win, but if both cars finish....Audi has something to worry about in the years to come...I think more than they needed to worry about Peugeot. Hopefully Toyota is committed to keeping this program alive and funded.

GT will no doubt be one of the most entertaining fields as always...I think Corvette may be ready to return to the podium. I think they've got GT2 figured out

This is going to sound stupid, but the lights on the ultralight R18's that flash red in the pits, are going to look pretty slick come night time.

Delta wing just tapped P2 Gulf Lola-Nissan. That car is actually very interesting, or becoming more so for some reason.

Flying Lizards just went off, but looks like he's fired again after getting hauled out of the kitty litter.

Delta Wing in garage again, shift linkage (acutator) issue.

Beretta in 3rd momentarily beached 458, back on track now.

Man...Forza banners all over the track this year.

1> It's FRIGGING amazing how well Turn10 rendered this track... At times I feel like I'm watching a reply!

2> Did you see the Toyota Prototype / Ferrari crack up at the end of the old straight?

The track does look fantastic in the game.

I missed the Toyota/Ferrari incident....Ferrari's and P1's don't mix well, last year, was AF Corsa (same as this time?) with McNish. Like I said, didn't see it, so not sure exactly what happened...just saw what looks to be the end of the DeltaWing tho

I was surprised to hear they were holding 2nd tho for a bit...just got back from being out doing some stuff.

Grr...the Ferrari/Toyota accident was almost a repeat of what happened last year to Rocky in the Audi. Ferrari driver just seem to drift over into P1 car. Granted they were going into a chicane, but c'mon...be aware of what is going on around you.

I was watching one of the audis and it looks like one of the porsches broke down out by the first chicane on the mulsanne straight. It was pretty much stopped at the exit of the corner

I just saw it in the same spot. Its one of the Felbermayr-proton porsches. Left side of the track right after the chicane

Just got back from dinner and turned the race back on... what have I missed? Is toyota out? Did the DeltaWing make it back on the track?

All I heard was that Audi dominated. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th

Thumbs up for Rebellion in P1! Disappointed by the vettes, but was pleasantly surprised to see Fernandez in the Aston on podium in GT-Pro.

P2 was actually interesting this year, although still not the darling of the TV coverage, which is a shame, because in some ways it's more competitive than P1.
