Endurance race at lemans

some of you may have heard that forza will be allowing 360 lap races at lemans on forza 4 on sunday (I think its sunday...), so I thought it would be more fun to do a shorter 50 lap race at lemans on saturday night. It should take around 3 hours to complete so we will be starting at 9:30 eastern time on saturday night. there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place that will be announced later.

EDIT: This will be a team event

Rules
all assists are allowed
car class will be R1 (998)
body style will be prototype (basically any car you can upgrade to 998 PI)
limited damage might be used (its hard to decide whether to do this or not because I would like a real feel to the race, but if you crash, it will take forever to get around the 8 and a half mile track)

Qualifier rules
cars must be bought for under 10,000CR
cars must be upgraded to B500 PI
Cars must be equipped with the following parts: full roll cage, sport tires, and sport suspension parts
collision mode will be off

So, what do you guys think? who would like to participate in the (almost) Ultimate endurance race?

yeah, the time difference would be killer

I made it a team event now

I am going to race for team porsche (it doesn't have the highest top speed, so I will probably be passed on the straights)

Cheap slow cars..... Have a 10,000 purchase price limit or something?

PI Max = B500
Restricted Parts = Race Roll Cage, Sport Tires (only sport tires), Sport Suspension bits, Sport Drivetrain bits, no conversions except turbo/sc...

Everything else is up to the driver....

sounds good. we will do somewhere between 10 and 15 minutes of qualifing in them

m going to change to team Peugot because I can't seem to find a porsche in the auction house for less than 2mil

Might as well sign me up for Peugot as well, Don't feel like buying a new R1 cause those aint cheap.

Even though it's supposed to be MY weekend (Father's day), I still have to do what the boss wants.... I have a limited amount of vetoes, but I need to hold on to them for something big!

For those of you who are not married, holding holiday/b-day boss (wife) vetoes can often work in your favor. They also gain more power past the holiday/b-day, but they will expire quickly.... It's a use or lose thing....

I've finished my replica of one of the P2 cars in the race using the Honda Lola 33, so please tentatively add me to that team. Not sure if I'll have the time available, but if it goes off I'll see what I can do! (I'll change the number to my own club number when the time comes btw.)

nice job! I've never brought myself to try designing one of the Prototypes, the canvas size is wayyyy to small for me
