Forza LeMans Events

In case you hadn't seen it...the boys over at T10 have some fun lined up for the LeMans weekend:

Anyone willing to try the 360 laps of LeMans?

This sounds fun. I might try to make one of the races but I don't think I can race at lemans for 4 full hours

haha, we should get most of the club to try that out! Imagine a lobby full of U2SC Members for that race, it would be great!

I'm going to try the 360 one...hopefully lobby will be available late, as I can only imagine this is going to be an 'after wife has gone to bed' kind of event.

What time you think you could you could get started on this? I will have to work out some arrangement with wife, but being Fathers Day, I might have some 'credits' I can use Thinking maybe shoot for a 6-7PM start? Still going to be a 4AM 'ish finish. Be really nice to have a U2SC lobby, cuz then we could all trust people to wait at finish line to make sure everyone gets a time posted.

I could go with a 7-7:30 p.m start are we talking eastern time?

I would love to try it for a bit but no way I could do 360 laps. As for how long it would take, would it not take closer to 24 hours? In an R1, say an average lap time of 3:45 (3.75 mins) X 360 laps = 1350 mins / 60 = 22.5 hours. I may be rusty on my math, but is that not closer? On Full Circuit.

Also, not taking into effect, rest/ washroom breaks and I know my lap times start to diminish after about 10 laps during series races.

grrrrr.... that's 2-6pm my time and I'm heading to a car show wit hthe family. My mother-in-law is bringing her Nash Metropolitan to a show in Springfield, TN on Saturday... While I'd love to race, my wife actually WANTS to go to the show. I need to take this opportunity by the horns and go with it!

Hmmm...10 hrs possible...but your math looks to be right, closer to 23-24. I don't think I could get that kind of 'leeway' ...will have to at least spend *some* time with family

yeah, 23 hours seems closer... if thats the case then I guess I'm out for this one... I can't spend my whole life playing forza

ok, since none of us are going to be able to sit through 24 straight hours of racing at lemans on forza, who would like to do a mini 50 lap version on saturday? I will start a thread for it in the club races part of the forum
